- In todays episode we finally finish the preliminary setup and begin to explore our solar system we also begin exploiting mercury for its resources and colonising the solar system.

I really liking this just playing videos, it really shows how you plan/think your steps specially early game.
Am glad, this is why I am making the series for you guys to have something to watch that while not as edited and clean as other videos is something that will be a daily upload, next episode will be out in an hour :).

So as it turns out, if you screw up the naval organization, and then fix it by deleting the highest-order admin, all the other admins still "exist" in the commanders screen which kind of clutters up the list.

Pretty sad start on the mineral front. Good thing you are already poised to explore other systems. Don't forget to check that cycle moves box on your fuel tanker if you want it done every year. Right now it will do it once in a year. Great video. Edit: Nevermind on the cycle moves. You got it.

Yes minerals are not the best though mercury will keep me going for a bit and it with what it has, at the very least i have nice fuel supply I have had sol starts with no minerals and no sorium and those suck haha.
You've put two refuelling systems in the tanker.
Interesting to see you make some of the "stupid" mistake we all do when realising we forgot the sensor or engine on a ship :)
Happens to the best of us haha, good thing i caught it otherwise we would of had issues surveying.
I realize Im pretty late on this but Im watching like 2 years later and really wishing you hadn't skipped the part where you made the fleets because my subfleets wont let me issue commands to them or assign commanders and I have no clue why
Never ran into this problem back when I played regularly and hopefully I can sort it out

While I appreciate the effort that went into your “roleplay” campaigns, I like this much better. Perhaps keep the majority of the RP portion to your discord and patreons. Not a YT pro, just thinking out loud.
Not really sure what you mean especially as your commenting on this video from like two months ago, theres a reason I offer both uncut which is pure aurora gameplay and also stuff like shattered empire to fill both needs
Also I do not even have patreons I have members which are generous enough to support me, and the majority of RP is done on the discord those particular videos only present that in the intro largely.
Not sure if your even talking about the correct things due to you commenting on a video so long ago though.

I am sure new players watching this to figure out how to play the game are wondering why you have to assign all those personal to naval commands manually when you have automated assignments turned on?
Because auto assignments does not cover naval commands or governors
fun fact, with your spare 200 instant research you can research any tech for free. apparently it doesnt check if you actually have enough, it just subtracts
i had 300 points left and for the meme i wanted to see if i could dump it inot a 10,000 cost tech to subtract some cost to speed it up, but NOPE it just researched the whole darn thing ;P
i assume the same thing works for the instant construction points but it is a bit cheaty, even if you can only do it once
200 construction factories at 25% is crazy to me

Yeah, so late but I wondering why You just didn't throw Ground Combat facility on Luna and assemble some militia to get down the unrest.
because I already had PPV on the way and I dont really care if luna is unhappy or not because it only has financial centres on it.

Not sure what you mean by that as c# has great performance but no 1.13 did not change performance in any significant way

i love your videos however they are a bit too quick getting to grips with this complex game, i am being a bit selfish however and would love more of your expertise in explaining things.
As i said at the start of the series, this is not a tutorial its just me playing sure il explain things but this is just me playing and commentating over it, if you want the tutorial like stuff I have series for it such as the conventional starting steps remastered series which is exactly what you seem to be asking for.
The point of this series is just to produce lots of content for you guys that doesnt have any specific objective besides being content around aurora, i hope you can understand.
so feel free to check out the other series.
