      @@cheriesartsncrafts That could be the gauge but 14 gauge would be quite a thick memory wire. You can measure the size across the loop. For example, if you measure from one side to the other and it measures 4cm, that's a child's size bracelet. I wear a 5.5cm - 6cm for my wrist. The larger ones are for necklaces. I hope that helps.

    Love the necklace and I've seen the 2nd video so I know what the issue is. I did so much research on memory wire about 8 years ago or so. My bracelets were flying off my small wrist at work and people were ducking and yelling. I was giving up on using it. So I went to the internet and asked some questions. Turns out that stainless steel mw is thinner and tends to not hold a tight circle. The recommendation that was made was to use carbon memory wire. And sure enough, it retains it's shape and hugs the wrist. (May be a problem for some.) It was also a suggestion that you start and end the bracelet with smaller beads and keep the heavy beads in the center. I haven't had to do that with carbon wire. Beadalon sells a carbon mw. The other extra special thing is that mw now comes in sizes. Based on your wrist size, you can happily find mw in a size that is suitable. It also comes in different gauges as well. So thicker mw also fits better, tighter, but you really have to measure your wrist and maybe try some on to see and feel the fit.
    I am a "late comer" to your channel. But, better late than never. I love your tutorials and your presentation. And I love that when there's a mistake, you make sure your fans know so we don't repeat it. A big thank you and hug!!

      @The_Stylish_Maker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much, Trudy. I have never used carbon steel memory wire but I can understand where you are coming from. I think it also depends on the size of the wire versus your wrist and the weight of the beads. Yes, keep the heavier beads close to the centre. I also sell heavier gauge memory wire which holds the shape better, but is still stainless steel.

That video suddenly disappeared. I searched for you again, and ended up on this video. This necklace is beautiful. It’s a very similar style to the chokers I made. I was pretty much self-taught. Very pretty! I love the dangles. (Un-jewelry related, your nails are lovely.) Jewelry related, I didn't know memory wire came in different sizes.
