- During the latest @NewYorkTimesEvents deal Book summit, Disney CEO Bob Iger blamed streaming for the latest Box office failures. Movies like wish, the marvels and Indiana Jones failed to garner box office success.
Iger emphasized that the movies did well on streaming services, further cementing his point.
He did also point out quality control issues, the pandemic and the push for quantity over quality as other factors that played a role in the movies' box office failures.

Bob is shameful, can't even admit all of the real mistakes. Focussing on quantity over quality, yes but also terrible writing and pandering. Don't blame COVID and streaming. You make a good movie then people will flock to watch it.

This entire interview is a clear demonstration of Bob Igers continuing failure to asses the direct failures of the content itself. The writing, the graphics, the "agenda" driven aspect of so much of it. He fails to declare the real failures and it still seems the studio is not only continuing such content guidelines but is in fact doubling down in many ways on their continuing agenda.
Bob needs to be replaced.
Marvel movies are the same rinse and repeat garbage with every new movie. Diluted quality sounds about right. Love and thunder was just painful to watch.
