I know a lot of other people have comment this but I’m just here to reiterate Lennon the bunny or 101 rabbits is where you should go to find out the proper way to take care of your beautiful bunny 💕. I have 2 Flemish giant rabbits and those two ladies really helped me in showing the correct care and housing of my rabbits and I am currently in the process of bonding them!

Brenton Stella's cage is way to small even if you let her out most of the day she needs a bigger rabbit cage and you need a way bigger litter tray don't use cat litter and to save money get a hay rack and put it above the litter tray and instead of hay for the bottom of the cage use fleece blanket and give the rabbit LOTS OF TOYS PLEASE chew toys are very important because they keep the rabbits teeth down. Feed the rabbit not just pellets but veggies. fresh veggies every day will do so much for your rabbit it's so important. Make sure you brush her every day since she's a holland lop rabbit. Clip her nails too. Not trying to be rude just looking out for Stella by letting you know this stuff. Like this to try and get it to the top so he sees it❤👍

It might not work because the litter box is to small get a cat sized litter box also the hutch even with both levels it slightly to small so I would recommend getting a dog play pen and also you need to only put hay in the litter box

That is not true, all of his information is innacurate. Thhe cage should be a minimum of 6 square feet for a rabbit and training them does not involve taking away levels which they don't need and typically shouldn't have to begin with. Not to mention that the tray he is using is completely inappropriate for a rabbit so training will never work
Your bunny needs a lot more room than what you are providing! Bunnies should be able to run and jump fairly high. I recommend getting a puppy play pen and you could leave the hutch open at all times so she could go in and out as she chooses. Also, that litter box is too small. Bunnies should be able to do a 360 turn in their litter box. The hay should be filled to the top of the litter box. At one point, your bunny was running from you, that means she is scared. I recommend doing bonding sessions with her and never ever chase and grab her as you did. Everyone makes mistakes, and I am just trying to help! An amazing TH-cam channel for a semi inexperienced bunny owner is Lennon the bunny, and 101 Rabbits!!

Brenten, instead of using a tray that is made for bunnies, you should use a cat litter tray. You also should fill it to the top with Orchard Grass Hay or Timothy Hay. I highly recommend Lennon the Bunny on TH-cam, if you haven’t already, she has great bunny advice
I fostered a bunny for a couple months it was a snuggle bug. She loved to get up in my chair with me and fall asleep
just a tip you should get a cat litter box and put a hay rack full of constant hay over her litter box. corner litter boxes aren’t that amazing especially for training. no hate just a few tips!
Hutches cause EXTREAM stress for rabbits. You should try free roaming! Or a VERY large pen! You can watch so many great videos on how to do so!

just a few things to remember:
- hutches really aren’t the best for rabbits as they are way too small and you can find a 4x4 Xpen on amazon for around $30 which is wayyyy cheaper than any hutch I’ve ever seen
-rabbits should also not get unlimited pellets as they will put on a lot of weight (the maximum amount is about 1/4 cup per 5lb. of rabbit)
-pretty much any litterbox that is made for rabbits is much too small, to fix this you can get pretty much any cat litterbox and they will be a lot better for your rabbit
-for litter training you can clean up the pee with a paper towel and put it in the litterbox so that way her scent is on it
-they need 2 cups of fresh veggies per 6lbs of the rabbits body weight daily
-she will also need traction which she doesn’t have in that hutch and you can fix this by putting a rug or something of that sort under her enclosure
- make sure the wood her cage is made out of is untreated pine wood because she will most likely chew on it and if she does you want it to be safe
- she needs a lot more enrichment and toys in her enclosure or she will be very bored and destructive
-for litter you can buy wood stove pellets as it is much cheaper and a lot better for your bunny (the litter that litterbox came with looked very dusty which isn’t good)

No,no,no.. never use a hutch.. you want to get a bigger and more open enclosure. And you need a much bigger litter box. You also need to put WAYYY more hay. Like 4 handfuls at least.
Are you sure that feeder is set up right? I had one and the top portion was outside the cage. The bottom part, where the food is, is on the inside. I’m afraid she may hurt herself on the sharp metal angles of the feeder.
Hey I know your doing your best with your bunny but she needs a bigger litter box and only put the hay and litter in the litter box so she knows where to go. She also doesn’t need pellets 24/7. Pellets are a treat that you feed. Plz check out Lenin the bunny channel because she will show how to make your bunny happy and healthy and she makes really good points on how to care for you bunny to make it easier on you.
You NEED to have HAY in the litter box, it’s essential because Rabbits eat while they use the bathroom, it’s a must go and watch “Lennon the bunnie” she talks about what’s good and what’s bad for rabbits, trust me it’s worth it!
Just put hay in the litter box they will eat it and go to the bath room in it. Also if you don't know bunnies eat their own poop they poop 2 types of poop one is what they eat it gives them vitamins and minerals that are healthy for them. If you don't believe me look it up. I use to volunteer at a animal shelter and I worked with the bunnies for 3 years. Also a cat litter box from the dollar store works just as good and holds more hay and that is what the animal shelter used
I dont want u to spend more money but i would recommend next time getting a cat litter box because it would give her more space.

Your bunny's set up is quite poor, not trying to insult you i promise ahah. The cage for her is simply too small, she won't be able stand fully stretched on her back legs and won,t be able to run around and binky. A dogs play pen would be far better. Bunnies also pee and poop while eating hay, so no matter what you do she will still go to the bathroom outside her litter tray unless all her hay is put inside her litter tray or in a hay feeder above it. The litter tray is also not big enough for a bunny your size, a cats litter tray would be better. She also needs some wooden toys to chew and play with as bunnies are very intelgant animals and need to be kept entatained, especially since she is on her own and dosen't have another bunny to play with. The constant suply of pellets is basically a constatnt suply of junkfood and is therfore very unhealthy. Her diet should mainly be hay and low suga vegetables. Otherwise she could get a little bit fat. It is a common misconception that bunnies are easy to look after, when in actual fact they have very similar needs to cats and dogs, if cared for properly a bunny can live up to 12 years of age.
Once again im not trying to insult you, im just trying to give you some advice.

There is literally absolutely nothing wrong with keeping your rabbit in some type of enclosure, but when doing so providing the appropriate space is vital. Just the the tanks, the need plenty of space to move. Lennon’s channel is amazing, but free roaming isn’t the only option. It’s just important to know “okay if I’m not free roaming then at least let me provide enough space for comfortable movement. Plus you DO need to let said bun out at least 4 hours a day if that the rout you choose. My buns a free roamer. I’m just saying that’s not the only option and everything else is wrong.
You should use a cat size litter box with all of their hay in or above the litterbox. Then you should switch to fleece bedding the straw bedding will confuse her on were to go to the bathroom, also it is better on their feet. And finally make sure you only feed her 1/4 a cup of high quality pellets or less. Make sure you are also feeding her veggies.

litter box is wayy to small, get a hooded cat one.. put wood based litter down then hay ontop until shes litter trained then you can put the hay in a rack so its less messy. the hooded ones keep the smell in more and makes them feel safer x
Next get on that tank, research lighting and even a good water change. For that size tank you should be doing water changes at least once a month that thing is foggy and as heck and don't say you don't clean the glass scrub the inside outside that's the kind of stuff you need to do with the saltwater tanks. Your spectrum color right now sucks. Look into getting a castle a 60 or above.
You should use a cat sized litter box, and only put hay in the litter box. That will help train her a lot

I had an indoor bunny . He lived for 13 years . He was litter trained for most of the time except he liked to sleep behind the coach and poop in his sleep and eat it . Very common behaviour for rabbits . RIP sweet Pavel Bunny ! Good luck training Bella!

I think this is a good start, nobody is perfect when they first get an new animal. Most of us learn as we go. I have a bunny care channel if you’re interested in checking out some of the videos. I have a lot of information about how to pick a bunny cage, proper diet and what a bunny needs to live a happy and healthy life. And actually you don’t want to free roam while litter training. Your bunny should be fully potty trained & adjusted to their environment before free roaming.

The food you chose is really not good for rabbits, I know the pet stores suggest getting this but they really know nothing about bunnies and probably suggested you get that super small hutch as well. The pet stores really only want the money. Also, right now it is fine to have a huge food bowl sense your bunny is really young but when the bunny grows up that is WAY to much food for a bunny and will grow to be super fat and will cause health issues and you will have to take the bunny to a vet. Also, a rabbit needs friends if you are gone at work for hours at a time and don't spend much time with your bunny. It looks like you have multiple pets and you are probably not able to spend much time with your bunny so PLEASE FREE-ROAM AND GET YOUR ADORABLE BUNNY A FRIEND!!!!! My bunny lives in a huge x-pen and we let him out every day for at least an 2 hours or more and are hoping to free-roam him soon or give him a room of his own. The least you could do is at least give him an x-pen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch Lennon the Bunny or Sincerely Cinnabun ( OR BOTH WOULD BE BEST)

Hey fanatic im a huge fan but all so a bunny owner am just going to tell you stuff you need to do and not to do
1. no hunch a xpen is way less expensive and way better for her.
2. bigger litter box they need to be able to do a 360 turn and use news paper not litter and more hay in they litter box not on the floor.
3. put fleece on the floor to help prevent sore hocks.
4. that is not good food for her she need greens i use organic sping mix she dose not need that much pellets greens and hay are the most important things in her diet 1 teaspoon for pellets do not ever take advice form the pet store they dont know any thing.
sorry if this hurt you in any way just saying this advice will help her live a long life if you dont take it o but if you do you wont regret it. bye such a huge fan Btw like so that way he will he this.

a lot of people are hating and yes he really doesn’t know what he’s doing but his intentions are good he is just misinformed it’s not necessarily his fault it’s just due to all the misleading and poor information out there.Commenting hate isn’t really the best way to try to get him to change we should just advise him on better ways to care for his bunny so he can improve without the hassle of hate.If you see this here are some tips to help improve your bunnies life.
•a bigger cage is the most important thing for this situation.The cage would be perfect for the litter box and feeding area if it is left open the whole time so she can be free ranged alll the time.She should not be kept in the cage for more then an hour a day.Bunny proofing your house like covering skirting boards and wires will ensure the perfect and safe bunny area.
•a bigger litter box is very important i would suggest a cat sized one and you need to pile it up with hay as they eat while they poo.
•bonding and knowing how to properly handle your rabbit is very important to have a happy relationship.Grabbing her like that isn’t the best as she will become stressed and nervous of being handled.Letting her come to you is the best way to build trust between you.Laying down on the ground and not reaching for her or touching her and letting her come and sniff u and potentially hop on you is perfect as then she will see she can come up to you and you won’t grab her and she can leave as she pleases.
•After you’ve got these basic steps fine if you want to make her the happiest she can ever be getting her neutered and getting a neutered male or female rabbit for her to have a companion and she will be so much more happy and relaxed.

All rabbits can be litterbox trained. Those critterlitterboxes are ALL to small for a rabbit. Get a cat litterbox. All of the hay needs to be in the litterbox, not just some of it or they will not learn a thing and potty wherever they like. If you get a cat litterbox please don't use the cover. Bunnies don't like being enclosed and some may struggle using a cover box because there's only one way in and out. If a predator would be to block the entrance, in theory I mean because that's what your rabbit thinks, they would be trapped and easy pray. If you want to keep the hutch, put a playpen around it and keep the hutch door always open. Hut alone is not enough space.
I have 3 well litter trained free roaming rabbits. Only one of them is stubborn about using the boxes but it's maybe once a week when I find a random spot outside of the boxes being peed on.

To stop the rabbit he blocks her and then when she continues to try and get away he grabs her by her ears pulls her back pins her down and then the video cuts? that’s NOT the correct way to handle a rabbit. You also said you watched youtube videos but clearly you did not do enough research. You need a bigger cage for the rabbit, that is not enough space. Even with a bigger cage you would need to let her out for 4-5 hours a day. On top of that the litter box is not nearly big enough, she won’t go in there. You need a cat sized litter box. Also, if you’re trying to litter train her you don’t want to put the hay everywhere, you want ALL of the hay in the litter box and nowhere else. furthermore those pellets do not look good for the rabbit, I suggest watching people like, 101 rabbits, and Lennon the bunny to learn more cause you haven’t done enough research. Im sorry if this sounds mean but I just really love rabbits.

you don't need pellets that have added ingredients you only need hay-based pellets
I have raised over 50 bunnies. My favorite pet by far but they do smell a bit to much to be in the house for me. I have raised ducks aswell. But now Im old and injured so I have a turtle named Misshell two cats and a massive tropical aquarium. Next year I'll have so much more.

Try not to put hay all over the floor because that can really confuse her. Instead put a comfy mat or rug. And try so get a hay bin or hay bag that you can put in the cage next to her food. 70% of a rabbits diet is hay. So just put A LOT of hay and keep the ground hay and bedding free she’ll most likely be trained in a week.
Just FYI corner litter boxes a lot of bunnies won’t use them cuz they are too small I suggest using a large cat litter box and the hutch is wayyyyyyy to small btw but you said once he/she is litter trained you’ll free roam which is great!!
If you just put hay in the litter box it saves you money on litter do to they don't sale bunny litter in big or jumbo bags so you are going to the pet store all the time. Most things like food and litter for bunnies and small furry animals do not come in a big or jumbo size as I found out having pet rats for many years.
