cool performance! never heard this piece but its very beautiful and outgoing. has a mellow and sad tone but some optimistic sounds as well. PLUS the piano part is so great!
Amazing performance. When that moisture bubble formed in the second movement I was like, “I hate when the clarinet turns on you and that happens. Not even Han’s fault.” 😅 Also, the 2nd movement ppp section just before the end more than made up for that. Got crazy goosebumps. 🤙🏼
Hi, my name is itay hazan (14), im from Jerusalem Israel and Im a clarinet player who just began playing the poulenc clarinet sonata. i really enjoyed your performance! Also, I think your golden mouthpiece sticker is very cool and I would really like to know how to get it. Thank you!
Amazing technique, and great sound. For my taste, much of it is a bit rushed, I wish he'd linger more on some of the phrases. There is so much drama and character in the piece that could be more heightened.
look kid stop inpersonating stoltzman....try thinking "wright" when i was that age i also did the dance crap...really just a gimmick that does not work
@@liem8687 oh, really...well that's cuz I suck these days...however, I got in finals of sf symphony for second clarinet back in the day which is alot better than you will ever do ...at this point I just watch and listen and there are stoltzman wanna bees everywhere...are you one to? omg...sucks
Quite promising at the very start: good basic sound. But then as soon as the longer notes arrive the tone continuously creeps in and out -- and very badly. Someone needs to tell the poor boy about Diaphragm Support. Pretty basic stuff!
I don't really understand the need for this comment. It doesn't provide any valid constructive criticism and seems to only have been left to belittle the (what I would say was) wonderful playing. Also in response to your other comment speaking of his 'dance', I personally found his movements quite charming. Adding extra personality to the overall performance. That is of course personal opinion, but I don't see why you felt the need to say negative things... it's sometimes better to say nothing than something unkind, especially with nothing helpful to say either.

Woww such a beautiful and controlled tone at super low dynamics and even tone from pppp to ffff.
So colorful performance bravo.
A beautiful Sonata, a wonderful performance by both Kim and Rashkovskiy.

Hey, you can probably find one in a nearby instrument shop or Amazon!
Search for Yamaha mouthpiece patch, it is for saxophone and clarinet so you need to be careful placing the patches

Hey Han, I really like your tone, what reed do use on average?

Hey joe! I just watched some of ur videos and they all sound absolutely horrific! Please dont try to insult real clarinet players, thanks!

Definitely, wrong style, sad to hear this
No it's not

There's no such thing as a 'wrong' style. An interpretation of a piece is just that; your own take on it. It's subjective
no it’s not
Too much dance, not needed
Hes just enjoying the music, let him be
It’s what makes him expressive, rather then sitting there and playing note after note, he’s adding musicality, it makes it so much more meaningful
