This is Jewish music, not a nation's music. The Torah called us "the people *of* Israel" before the term "Jew" came to be. Israel is not who we are. We are diaspora worldwide, and take great pride in our home countries. Please don't mistake our religious Jewish music as national music for the state of Israel. Two different things entirely. Tired of the modern state of Israel being used to define and challenge us. We are human beings of many states, for many millennia.
Your Hebrew is incorrect, and we're not a scriptural religion - thus we don't quote scripture like you Christians do. The book of Psalms is not in our Torah; that ain't our book, homes.
