Thanks, I experimented with this style a bit on this cruise and prefer it over my older style. So will probably bring this forward from now on 🙂 don't worry those subscribers are slowly trickling in (he says after seven years 😂)
We had P242 two cabins along from you - very convenient for atrium, Meridian restaurant and getting off ship as gangways were either decks 4 or 5, but a bit of a trek to buffet and pool decks!
Luckily I had a couple extra days off work to get this first one out 🙂thanks, and I should have really but just meant that I ate more due to the extra calories walking to the buffet 😂
I have had similar cabins Plaza level on Princess. Only about a minute walk to the 24-hour International Cafe. And enjoyed the almost submarine feel of the waves crashing giants cabin window. Really feels like you are on the high seas. I like your videos. Have fun.
I think you can agree that I found the perfect beach in the end! 😂 I am, spend far too much time in the buffet but those desserts always draw me back in. Nice, is that on Azura I'm guessing?
@CaptureCruising yeah it is the Azura, It goes round Greece. Always wanted to try Athens, plus it goes to Sentorini. Everytime you say about the buffet it makes me giggle. We recently went on the Aurora, and they had treacle tart. Most ppl had that pudding they must have had to go to Costco before to get the ships supply. The million dollar question: Did u pass ur exam? 😆
Nice, Azura is a lovely ship, you'll have a great time! That could be quite a warm one but Greece is a lovely place to visit, very clear waters and great architecture from what I remember. I do mention it a lot don't I 😂I know it's there so it's always on my mind. That sounds lovely I'm getting hungry again just talking about it. I can't imagine how they stock the food for each cruise considering how much people eat! Thanks for asking, yes I did pass! Does that mean I get a million dollars?? 😫
Went on the same ship for 2weeks Italy and Greece however got COVID on the 2nd week so no Greece and it took 3 weeks to shift it. First cruise and last.
I would advise you to get assigned another cabin. Don't take any chances, your vacation lasts a week and this is a very false start ... ask for a higher cabin that is quieter than this cabin. Great blog by the way, well done ... 🍹 chears 😎
Thankfully the cabin situation improved through the week so wasn't too bad in the end. Definitely would have liked to be higher but was good for disembarking and embarking the ship though! And thanks! 🙂
Sunburn on day 1 OMG ah well at least you got to the buffet.... Watching this with interest as I did the Italy / France part of this cruise and looking to do the Croatia / Greece part after my Next one......
@@CaptureCruising Ajeccio has a great market and Civicheveccia is a nice port to walk about so were brilliant, It was overcast in Livirno and most of it was closed. Naples was mental with car horns blasting everywhere but when you get into the back streets it's like a ghetto..... We didn't go to Rome or Pizza just the ports....
Sounds good. I went to those ports many years ago but can't really remember any of it so would be nice to go back! There was one though that I remember the traffic was manic so maybe that was Naples. Surprised I survived it to be honest.
Naples was like a grand pix start...everyone jostling for places....it appears the itinerary may have changed. The current cruise is doing Valla France to get to Monaco and not Naples for some reason but our family on it say the transfer to Monaco wasn't the best experience 🤔
I always have a breakfast at the airport if it’s a morning flight to wake me up. How many times have you been on Azura? You do like your buffet food. Interesting to see your cabin you have. Great blog 👍🏼
Unfortunately due to the time of the flights and transfers it didn't leave any time for exploring. On the Canary Islands one they had an overnight stay in the home port but not with this itinerary sadly.
I'm doing a Med cruise out of Malta in April. Not been on her before, so will watch the videos of your cruise with interest. Is there anywhere at the port to buy some soft drinks to take on board?
P&O have been watching your vlogs and have realised how much time you spend in the buffet and may have moved you to increase your steps and lower your calories 😂
We heard the weird sloshing noise further away from your cabin in D719 on our cruise last week, we thought it was just the people above us being obsessed with running a bath ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On reflection I'm sure there was a tank or something on the deck below, maybe the waste one as I seemed to hear everyone's flushes all through the night!
Opening part was excellent especially coach on map and sights of journey in circles. You deserve more subscribers.

Nice, did you like the cabin? I tend to spend more time on the upper decks of the ship so it was a lot of walking for me! Worth it for that sun though
Good video, enjoyed your analysis!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video 👍
I stayed in E609 in April.2024,it was a king size bed and very plush.! A nice sea view and handy for going two decks down to Casino.
Great info thanks
Hope you found it helpful!
Hi great video,
Very informative, lot of stairs to buffet 😅 you can eat more😊.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video 👍 it's nine decks up and about 200 meters across to the buffet... not that I was counting 😂
You got this blog out quickly 😊Very professional looking too🎥. I would have asked to be moved nearer the buffet 🍽️
Luckily I had a couple extra days off work to get this first one out 🙂thanks, and I should have really but just meant that I ate more due to the extra calories walking to the buffet 😂
Going this cruise in 2 weeks and I'm BUZZIN 😁
Just wanted to say, love the graphics for the flights n bus journeys n stuff, just a cool wee addition
You'll have a great time... not long to go now! Just got back from the Med and it's a nice 22ish degrees as well!

I do miss the International Cafe! Unfortunately the seas were very calm on this cruise so no "submarine videos" from me 😂
Watched this one yesterday. I loved you finding your perfect beach. You love the buffet, me too lots to choose from. We're on med next year.

You do like the buffet. Enjoyed your vlog and you’re a funny guy. 😂.
I would sleep in the buffet if I could 😂 glad you enjoyed the video!

I'm sorry to hear that and that it tainted your cruise experience.

The sunburn only gets worse as the week goes on I'm afraid 😂 oh awesome, how was the other half of the cruise? Worth doing?

I tend to keep my breakfast light before a long travel. Just in case you know 😂 this was my second time on Azura, and thanks for watching!
Looks lovely! 😀 Do you have some time to expore Valletta on embarkation and disembarkation day?
Unfortunately due to the time of the flights and transfers it didn't leave any time for exploring. On the Canary Islands one they had an overnight stay in the home port but not with this itinerary sadly.
@@CaptureCruising Thanks for the reply! I'm hoping to get a couple of hours at least on one of the days. 🌅🛳
You'd probably be best flying over a day or two before to get some time there. The itinerary in Valetta seems very tight

Must have! But dw it just meant that I had to add an extra meal in each day to replenish those extra burnt calories 😂

Doing this ship for 2 weeks from 9th May
Hope you have a great time and get some decent sun!
