Just back from a Canaries cruise yesterday on the Azura and no we didn't have rain, the weather was perfect ❤Love Madeira,lots to see and do. By the way we didn't have any nice sunsets the whole week ??? Rubbish! Looking forward to your next vlog x

Hey, you’ve broken the 2k mark! 👏🏻 Re the rain, Madeira is often called “the island of eternal spring” because of the varied weather depending on where you are. Locals joke that you can experience all four seasons just by travelling around the island.

How did you find Marella compares to P&O? My main focus is usually the cost for solo traveler, the itinerary and the buffet. Enjoyed the video, I am there in March and have booked a dolphin spotting trip in the morning, but then will retrace your steps to the fort/beach and garden in the afternoon :)

Well it’s never rained in Madeira whenever I’ve been there. I was there October/November last two years and will be there in December. Lovely historical fort and structurally in tact although requires some external upkeep. Love it there and I usually end up in a bar half cut on poncha 😅it’s either a dinosaur 🦕 or a giraffe 🦒 lol

I stayed in E609 in April.2024,it was a king size bed and very plush.! A nice sea view and handy for going two decks down to Casino.

Can I just ask did you use the complimentary coach transfer to Southampton and if so did you need to drop the luggage off at the appopriate pod or did the coach driver do this for you?

Did your cruise have a "white night" under the stars or something like that?

Good to see the food and drink you are getting - seems a lot of carbs though. Anyway it all looks good. You didn't say which port was cancelled. Fortunately I am keeping up with your videos and remembered that Horta in the Azores was on your itinerary, so that must have been it. . Many years ago I was on a PandO cruise on Arcadia on a return trip to the Caribbean from Southampton. On the way back our scheduled stop at Praia (Santa Cruz da Graciosa) in the Azores was cancelled because of bad weather but our super captain managed to get another port stop in at La Coruna - SpaIn. Fortunately, on the way to the Caribbean we were able to stop at Ponta Delgada so managed to see something of the Azores - I thought the inland volcanic landscapes and flora were amazing (home of the Hydrangeas!). Looking back at my missed ports; I have been on about 10 cruises around the world ... I have had only the Bahamas and Le Havre cancelled.

Ok this entertainment looks really good, but those sun beds with blue towels on remind me too much of P&O with reserving etc. Now I have seriously been looking at Marella as their itineraries are the best. However, a 14 night cruise in a standard balcony in the med in 2025 is going to set me back 7.5 grand for 2 people. I get it’s all inclusive but if you aren’t a ‘drinker’ is it worth this premium?I have to decide whether this huge premium (more than Princess and Cunard) is worth it for the itinerary. Decisions Decisions 🤔

Butlins at sea !!!! Not for me !! The food looks nice though? Don't think I fancy a transatlantic cruise, not just because of the time changes but too many sea days 😕 Especially if it was rough seas 🤢 You look as though you are enjoying the all inclusive though !

I was going to book the Arvia in March 2025 transatlantic from Barbados to Southampton but I think I’m going to knock it on the head. Not sure about heading back to the cold and losing hours. Bonus of course is avoiding the dreaded flight back from Barbados and no jet lag. Price seemed good though 😊

Hi, We are lookiing at this cruise for Mid March 25 so 5 weeks later than you.. it looks like you were super lucky with the weather for Feb. Did you like the ship and how were the ports in the off season? We are on the Apex in October so might get an offer whilst in board for the Infinity next year.
