I tried this before in 2018. After 6 months the batteries on my phones started to expand and eventually the screens started to bubble as the phone battery expanded. The phones looked like they were going to explode. Keep an eye on that
Can't you remove the batteries and get the power down? I think I've seen other phone mining rigs that have done that. Just a thought. It was good to get a video from you. Plus, thank you for the spreadsheet you sent me.

I was going to buy a phone mining farm but 10 miners ($1000) would give me 30 vrsc a month. If i just buy $1000 worth of vrsc i would get 2000 vrsc…if i mined 30 vrsc a month, it would take me 66 months…i just bought vrsc. I would suggest you use orange pi 5 instead, the youtuber “mad electron engineer” shows how to setup the orange pi 5, and gives amazon link for pi 5 and cooler ($100), the pi 5 hash rate is double at 7 mh/s, and you don’t have to babysit the phones. You can set the pi 5 to restart every morning and it automatically starts mining.

Only thing that would make it worth doing all this and investing into. This would be getting paid from youtube also. Invest two thousand dollars and hella time to make seventy cents a day
Is that OK to do this with locked phone ?
yes
