Damn, RIP poor Jimmy Brooks. Poor guy wasn't gonna say nothing. Sky's paranoia is going to turn this into an accidental evil playthrough 😝 You're doing great learning the mechanics of the game though, I love that you're taking your time. I was also happy to see you start to notice you can talk to all camp members at any time with LT. Definitely check in with everyone frequently, they always have something new to say. Great video!
The lines that always crack me up at this stage... Uncle's needy protestation of "Lizards have hearts!" after he's been admonished for refusing to help get that guy's horses back, and Dutch's resigned "Exactly... what about you?..." to Bill after the bar brawl. They never fail to raise a smile, and feel 'real'. 😂
One thing about this game is that, I lot of its story tellings are done thru the NPCs own stories in the background so it is as much about the player doing things as it is about being attentive to what people and things around are doing. All these NPCs have their little story arcs; its amazing how much effort they put into designing these rich background stuff that builds such a realistic immersive world, which can just be missed if the players don't look for them and focus on missions
Wandering through this world outside of the main story is a whole separate playthrough of its own. I can’t say enough how much you are going to enjoy what RDR2 has to reveal. Take all the time you need to push content for this title. We appreciate you ❤
Also Sky, you kind of glossed over one of the core mechanics in the game in the first episode: Dead Eye. While aiming, press RS. You will enter a mode where you can paint 1 or more person/animal with markers, and then proceed to shoot those markers in an instant. It's like your... super-power, I guess. Try it, you'll see! Extremely helpful and important.
Take your time with this one, it’s very much a stop and smell the roses kind of game. I’m still finding new things in story mode 5 years later, this is such a great game.
something I wish I had done on my first playthrough of the game was to interact with camp members from time to time. There are more planned out events in the camp later on, like campfires and such, but there is so much detail in this game that practically everyone has their own personality and it's so much rewarding to develop closer connections with the characters
Skyy you dont need to hold the shoot trigger (RT) when you aim with your bow, that way you only waste your stamina. First aim (LT) and only when you have a clear shot hold the shoot trigger (RT) to string your bow and then release it. I hope this helps you to hunt better☺ Also don't be scared to get a little closer to the animals just be stealthy and check the wind direction with your eagle eye to make sure animals can't smell you👃
Donating the meat to the butcher table is donating food. When you donate pelts that is for crafting material. Most of the crafting requires perfect skins which are 3/3 stars. You will see the stars when you target the animal on the lower right corner. Depending on where you kill the animal and with what gun will affect what the skin rating is. Ex: If you shoot a deer with a shotgun even though it had a rating of 3/3 it will become 1/3. It might help to study the animal by taking binoculars and zooming in on it to see what weapon should be used to kill it, and also try to go for head shots. Crafting the camp isn't required it more like customizing the base. It will stay if you moved camping spots.
You can use your eagle vision to loot houses easier. It will highlight all the lootable items and points of interest. When looting, if there are multiple items on a shelf, hold left trigger to focus on one item, then you can use the right stick to switch between items. Tap LB to holster your weapon and double tap LB to spin your pistol then holster.
Kills the man from Blackwater AND runs into the horse owner lol Don't worry I started out lower honour as well, can always build up honour but your actions still have consequences.
Tip: Faster isn't always better, especially if you have other characters with you. People miss a LOT of dialogue by riding too fast when with other characters.
@@crazygamingyt7245for some of us, the sooner we finish the game the sooner we start all over again. So it really doesn’t matter how long it takes to get through just one of many playthroughs, for some of us..
Let’s gooooooo! Also your shooting is getting much better as well ! A lot more scenery things and interactions to come across two videos into this game and this is already my favorite series too played and you’re now my fav content creator
Also hunting works like this: Focus on animal, Ex: Deer. The bottom right of the screen will tell you its condition using a 3 star system. 1 ⭐️ being Poor quality, 2 ⭐️ Good and 3…PERFECT (only quality certain NPC’s will use to allow you to craft clothes for you. It’s the only Quality Pearson can accept to make all the satchels and camp upgrades, I recommend to work on satchels as they increase overall carrying capacity up to 99 for each item. BUT just becuz it’s a perfect quality animal, DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN SHOOT ITS BUTT! You have to aim perfectly most of the time in the head. Whereas if you shot it in the butt, it’s pelt goes down from 3 to 1 star. I had a hard time getting this right when I started playing but just practice and you’ll get the hang of it.
Studying all animals with binoculars will let you know it's pelt quality, soon as you aim your weapon at a studied animal. Studying also tells you the best weapon(s) to kill it with ( 1 shot to the head with proper weapon ) to keep the pelt from downgrading. Only perfect pelts are used for crafting. Good and poor pelts are for money ( sell to a trapper or town butcher or donate to Pearson for camp funds ).
@@leslieetheridge5225 yes indeed! Rifles for larger animals, varmit rifle for birds & rodents, and bow may vary. I always wondered why I wouldn’t get a single perfect pelt with all the wolf encounters you have while traversing through the map. -Though Sky, all of this will cost money and require picking up the required resources to craft the appropriate ammo type(s). Most definitely explore and pick up any gold bars you may find along the way ! or do good things and get rewards from npcs
Here's a tip to save on time, instead of having to press (B) to back out of multiple menus, you can just hold it to enter back into the overworld and you don't have to carry the animals to donate in camp, they can stay on your horse as long as it's close to camp
Glad you are continuing. Yes, it is one of the best games ever made. It is not my favorite of all games but I cannot deny how massively impressive it is. It is best enjoyed by taking your time and becoming part of the world - watching eagles swoop down and grab a rabbit or snake, etc. Horse and NPC animations are incredible.
This is gonna make me finish up my playthough been playing for 2 years. Everytime I hop on, I don't even do the main storyline, the open world in this game is one of the best I ever played. There's so much to find and discover. It doesn't help that I get distracted by other games, but there's just so much detail put into the game. Most times, I just like to get on the horse and ride 🐎
Definetly long uncut videos. Love to put these on for the atmosphere, and it's fun to see someone experience it all for the first time! Also appreciate you reading the diaries and letters and all cause I haven't😂
Can't wait to hear LENNNYYY Couple tips: try to eat consistently in the game because it'll help keep Arthur's weight in check, and canned foods/meats are usually the best. When you donate an animal carcass to pearson, it automatically saves the pelt as well in his storage, but he can only work with perfect pelts. If you're gonna use the bow, get closer so the auto aim takes over and fire after one second of holding the trigger button. I recommend hunting from your horse, since that way you can close the distance fast, and the aim lock can do the work for you.
Doing my 3rd playthrough and first high honor playthrough. It definitely sets a different tone when you're trying to be "good" Also getting some unique horses in the wild this time. It's very rewarding to admire your horse every time you see it.

If you give Pierson (camp butcher) a carcass of an animal he will keep the pelt for later use but it has to be a 3 star pelt/perfect or it's not usable. Also if your having trouble with aiming the bow it's because your stamina core is empty. You can use dead eye to shoot the bow as well.
Excited to watch this playthrough. One of my favorite games of all time. If you get the chance try "Greet, Greet, Antagonize" on an NPC or in the camp, you'll get some hilarious dialogue
Yay, awesome! Perfect timing for me with finishing meetings. I'm sorry this video gave you so much trouble but I'm glad it was able to go through eventually!
Sometimes, like at 20:25, you'll see multiple objects on a desk. You might not be able to pick one because you're full, but if you hold L2 + right stick, you can target the item you want to interact with and pick it up. Try not to rush to your destinations. When you're riding with other characters, they tell you stuff about themselves and it enhances your experience of them the further the story goes. Tapping the 'go' button twice then holding it should be about "regular" speed. Chapter 2 is still the tutorial phase which means a lot of the missions you play will teach you something new to try to get you used to the mechanics. So you should just focus on them.
I’ve 100% this game and like one of the hardest things I had to do was the gambler challenge, I’ve done it twice and I nearly lose my marbles. The games algorithm literally is design to mess with you omg😭 but as a madman, I still recommend trying it lmao. Great play through so far! Remember to take notice of your honor with your decisions, and not that you need to use it all the time but check out the Deadeye system. It’s the eye next to your stamina, aim with ur gun & press in whatever button it is for R3 on PS. It’s such a iconic feature of this series, truly a western super power🤠
Its really nice to see you enjoying it so much... really reminds me of my first playthrough... wish i could erase my memories to play this absolute blockbuster of a game again for the first time :,) Btw great video as always. Keep it up!
For the bow, you need to consume bitters, cocaine chewing gum (yes that’s a thing in the game lmao) to increase your stamina line for a limited time. The more you run around throughout your play through, the more your stamina increases to level 8-10, I think your currently level 2-3 in health, stam and dead eye. Speaking of that, using deadeye helps hitting enemies or animals accurately. Like Cougars. They will run towards you, leaving you not enough time to kill with the bow or gun. Deadeye slows down time so you can kill it before it kills you !
Quick hunting guide: "Study" (option) animals. You may then read which weapon/amo will give you perfect pelt - given the shot was clean (head is 99% time place to aim). Carcass on horseback will spoil over time! - pelt won't, so unfortunately (since you don't like it) skinning is safer. Skinned corpse can be given to Pearson also. Crafting recepies (including ones at the Trapper) always demand 3 start (perfect) hide/pelt. Once crafted you have the item forever and can chwnge it in "Wardrobes". Satchel upgrade is permanent and once crafted always increases capacity of given category of item - equipping it is purely cosmetic once you made it at Pearson Shop. Not crafting satchel's makes the game tad harder (some folk like it). A general advice - don't worry, you WILL want to play this game again at some point 😂
Sky: "Hey I need a horse, I'll just steal this one in the middle of town....Hey why are they chasing me?" Lol Classic. Just discovering how things work in this RDR2 world is a lot of the enjoyment and excellent design of the game Enjoy it.
I really hope you enjoy this game it has a special place in my heart please play all the side missions and don't rush the game as if you don't do certain missions you won't unlock amazing cutscenes i wish i could play this game again without memory i hope you enjoy it il follow your journey
I’m a lil’ late but I’m glad to see a part II ! I believe you’ll love the open world and the secrets it has to hold, and also the story of course which is one of the best stories ever. Honestly you’re my new favorite content creator.
First time finding your channel! I'm looking forward to your RDR2 journey. About the guy that got kicked by his own horse and the wheel at the start of the video: Neither of those were your fault, don't worry!
If you want the upgraded satchels/camp upgrades, you're gonna need to learn how to hunt. Main things to practice is using your binoculars (in your item wheel) to spot animals from far away and see if they're a perfect pelt (3 stars) or not. Then use eagle eye to track them and sneak up on them. If you want to keep the pelt perfect, just make sure you use the right weapon and get a headshot. A bow and arrow is good to use on deer and the like, but you'll need a powerful rifle to get bigger animals and small game arrows/varmint rifle rounds for small mammals and birds. I recommend skinning them, because the pelt can deteriorate and rot if it's just left on your horse for extended periods. I actually don't mind the longer episodes, because this is one of the most content-dense games ever made, and it's better to take it slow to get the full experience.
Few tips - Always hitch the horse. Whenever you are in the camp, do all camp chores. Run a lot. Hunt a lot. Feed and brush the horse a lot. These make a ton of difference.
Press RS on your controller to use dead eye. It slows time, allowing you to make accurate shots, such as when hunting something or aiming at someone from a distance.
Sorry you had to deal with so many issues and hate. We know how hard you were trying to upload this video. Thank you for another amazing video and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and can now rest
Yeah people who don't make content don't know how hard it is. They just want their entertainment not knowing the toll it takes on the creator to keep a constant stream of content flowing to their channel. It's sad when people hate because it's taking to long.
I killed Jimmy Brooks the first time too for the same reason. It makes sense but the games morality system is rather simplistic. This is a game where you will kill hundreds of men and can still be honorable after all.

Im trying to 100% it rn on my 2nd play through DEF not easy i mean jesus 😭
for me the hardest was fishing for some reason

NOOOO 😭Jimmy Broke. He's a good feller. RIP
Oh to be able to experience this game for the first time again! Enjoy, the ride is worth it! 😊
Quick hunting guide:
"Study" (option) animals.
I think this video is the right length. My favorite part is the horse kicking and killing the guy when you tried to help him. Another great one!!
Sky: "Hey I need a horse, I'll just steal this one in the middle of town....Hey why are they chasing me?" Lol Classic. Just discovering how things work in this RDR2 world is a lot of the enjoyment and excellent design of the game Enjoy it.
I’ve enjoyed the long episodes especially as you’re figuring out how to play. You’re a good gamer so it’s an entertaining experience.
the real game of the year of 2018 ,a true master piece with a good hero mr arthur morgan
If I could play only one game for the rest of my life it would be this game. So crazy.
I think I'm getting addicted to this! Also I'm more than happy with longer uncut videos :)
I absolutely loved loved loved your part 1 of RDR 2 can't wait to watch this ❤
I always try to spare as many people as possible
really enjoying watching you play this game! thanks for your effort. cant wait to see you progress in the game!
This is the game we can watch the longer playthrough without getting bored❤
No better way to end the day than with a new sky video. Hopefully the issues you were having get resolved, just know we appreciate what you do
Hard to move on to other games after playing this masterpiece. Best game ever created. Looking forward to watching your journey :)
Haha you got hooked by the poker too, it got me aswell
Love that new series!
Sorry for the hate people were showing. Hope u feel better. Thanks for always doing your best. We appreciate u.💙
I love it!! It's gonna be a hell of a ride for You!! I cant wait to see the whole game w/ you :)
Gosh you said it. They are a strong group and they are very close in this time. Great game, so complex and real.
Keep the videos longer Sky! As long as you want. 2 plus hours and more, haha. I’ll be there, no matter what!
You're gonna be in for a fun ride. Love this game.
Press RS on your controller to use dead eye. It slows time, allowing you to make accurate shots, such as when hunting something or aiming at someone from a distance.
Finished my first walkthrough the other day, then immediately started another right after it’s such a good game
Another great video Sky! I love how hard you are working for us to give this wonderful content! And thank you for being your amazing self ❤
always do the right thing in this game that’s the best advice i could give about this game.
I killed Jimmy Brooks the first time too for the same reason. It makes sense but the games morality system is rather simplistic. This is a game where you will kill hundreds of men and can still be honorable after all.
Sky you'll love exploring in this game. There's so much going on
Yayyyy, I'm late, but I love you, keep up the great work, so glad to see how far you've come so far, and can't wait to see what the future holds, keep it up sky!
I think you missed the Dead eye tutorial in the first episode by the way, but click in the right thumbstick while aiming, it improves your aiming while the meter is full. It also gets upgraded as you go through the game

Arthur - "You Still Okay?"
Lenny - "I think so"

listen, i know the story is long but as you progress you will not regret it thats for sure. its a long ride and we are here for it !
Don’t forget to groom Arthur very well. U can do that at the barbers and give him baths in hotels or lakes
another episode in the playthrough, another cozy evening chilling watching sky play!!
Yay for the another episode I had been waiting for the this episode ❤ and great job making this video Sky ❤
To use your deadeye ability, while you're aiming your weapon, click the right analog stick on the controller
I've been waiting in anticipation for this next part. 😊
Let’s go!!! Ready for Part 2. Keep them coming Sky! Making sure to leave my comment and like so it can bring in more viewers on here :)
