Hearing this song I know this pandemic will end. The song is not just about love. It tells us that problems and trials are only temporary and that things will work out for the best. I can't think of anyone who communicates this message better than Debby Boone. Her singing is from the heart.
Debby is not a one-hit wonder. She has transcended the music industry and soared to heights far beyond what is "popular"! She is the greatest singer and her music means a lot to a lot of people, including myself.

Just talked to Cherry and she had enjoyed writing this song for her sister Lindy Boone. So it's kinda autobiographical which is neat. The Boones were nominated for Grammy Award, and Cherry was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Ants'yllvania...which she co-wrote...
The verse "saw my life begin to chain" makes absolutely no sense at all. Even though it sounds like chain, the word is change. Mind you, I love the song but the interpretation drives me up the wall every single time I see this. The guy in the picture by the way is Pat Boone who was a popular singer in the 50's and 60's.
