It seems that no large tech youtuber has made any videos about this topic so I think the authenticity of this videos content cannot be fully trusted. I think you should not worry about your keyboard, only until any big tech youtuber that specializes in this kind of stuff authenticates the information and proves that there are fake keyboards out there..

Just found out my ducky one 2 mini is a fake I bought it in October of 2019 and I believed it was real because I got it off amazon
It had no logo on my keyboard
The fonts on the keys he mentioned looks just like the fake one
And the space bar also doesn't feel deep like he said
Also, my spacebar is not centered
Also, I learned that the reason the extra space bar they give to you for like the Chinese animal for me that space bar just doesn't stick in place and it falls off and if I put it on it wiggles a lot if I try to play a game :(

The engraved logo and plate designed seemed to be the main source of false positives. Just got confirmation from Ducky that the plate logo was not added until Q4 2019 batches. Updated PDF can be found here: mechanicalkeyboards.com/downloads/RealvsFakeDuckyMini_v2.pdf

Final VII you always need to ensure that amazon is selling you the right stuff. I’d contact them ASAP
I bought one and the only discrepancy of the original for mine is the printing of the space bar and the stabilizer on the contrary, it has the laser marking, centralized space bar and all the other things shown in the video, like box, source of the keycap, everything ... only stabilizer in the backspace facing downwards (it has stabilizers installed correctly in it too) and the design of the space bar is different from the model (the one with two zodiac collections and bricks too) and the printing of the key in general ( but it works extremely well in RGb lighting. I’m confused. Even the update firmware works perfectly.

I had a fake one apparently. My spacebar was rattling and showed ducky and they didn't notice it was fake as i took the space bar off in the clip i showed them. They didn't take it back and i couldnt return it anymore but a lovely lady on amazon took the return and now i just bought an apex pro tkl from ss website
When i was pulling the spacebar off my heart was pounding, when i saw the gap was centered my brain went like: “WOOOO!!”
I think I got a fake Ducky One 2 100%, several keys stopped working after about a year and on opening it saw the plate was corroded despite being "NIB", thoughts?
I received one that came from the Hong Kong Distributor on the list. I only looked at this video because the space bar was not working properly (spamming after clicking once). The key caps passed your comparison, and so did the space bar. Everything else from your video said it was fake. I got in contact with them and they assured me it was authentic and it it was just a Version 1 Ducky Keyboard. I gave them the opportunity to replace with the version 2 and the second one they sent me passed all the list items you have identified. I am wondering if they were being honest or if you know the Version 1 would pass all these same comparisons.

I got lucky with my first ducky which was fake. The connection was dying within the first week i purchased it from the walmart website. The keycaps were the fake caps and the spacebar wasnt centered when i was changing the keycaps to pudding keycaps. I returned it and got a refund right away after it died lol. i recently got a new one on Amazon in the US and its authentic, which im happy about.
