The fight with the Paragons of the Klaxxi always made me sad. Theirs was the only quest hub I honestly enjoyed. You unlocked each Paragon by helping them, earning their confidence, aiding them in their time of need. You formed a bond with each of them, individual personalities within their swarm. You learned of how each Mantid is born feral, needing battle to shape them into a unique personality. You learned of their battles, their triumphs, their lessons to teach. You learned their likes, dislikes, rivalries, struggles, and their final decision to contain themselves in Amber to escape the wrath of the Titans. You heard their disappointment at a new and strange world they awoke to, and their remorse at the death of their deity, and the disgust with their corrupted Empress. I had hoped we'd be able to just drive them off, maybe convince them to give up. But my new friends lie dead beneath the capital of the Horde, killed by my own hands.

Its actually rather interesting Jaina's hair is going grey, she was best friends with Arthas before he turned evil and if anyone knows what happened when arthas turned evil, his hair turned grey/white. Very clearly suggesting a simular process happening to her. Rather cool they used that subtle reference there.
I can't help myself, but the moment when Varian asks for the warchief, guards spread and Vol'jin appears is so epic! Please make a short lore video on Vol'jin.
The Siege of Orgrimmar would have been perfect if Ally AND Horde could have queued together for lfr or premade raid parties. Finally ally with friends on the other side. I hope that in the future they will allow this. Only for a brief moment.

I want to see your lore on Sylvanas. She is my favorite Character. Leader of my favorite Race. Long live the banshee queen! but one thing I can say is I seem to be likely biased , but see her actions differently. 1. She did join the horde because of mutual survival. That the entire reason "thralls horde exists. A place for misunderstood races to band together and live in this world against the odds. 2. When Sylvanas first brought the Blood elves into the Horde. With this action she proved she Still loves her homeland and her people. She even sent forsaken to help them hold their lands. This act showed she will defend the blood elves without a doubt. 3. When the battle for the undercity took place she escaped to orgrimmar for help. she did not betray thrall or the horde. She went there in order to get help to reclaim their city. 4.(I know there is a bunch of missing pieces with this one) Sylvanas was going to end her life after Arthas was defeated. and she did. The valykyre showed her how her people would be throwing themselves into fire because they had no reason to fight any longer. No reason to live in the undeath they were given. This didn't phase her at first. (she's also going to the same dark hell arthus is) 5.Now that She has the power to raise the undead. The forsaken will no longer die out. They can sustain themselves. The main reason Sylvanas is not the lich king and many peopole never know this is when a (not recently dead soldier) is raised (the player as an example) is given a choice. 1 kill yourselves and rest 2. live and fight for the banshee queen 3. Go off on your own and live This choice gives her a MAJOR difference between the lich king. The forsaken have their minds, their wills, they are their own people. They are not mindless ghouls. and to the reason she can raise dead and have them immediatly follow her is because in the heat of battle emotions are high and the rage of the fallen come back out if the person has been recently raised. (the Silverpine raised dead for example) Thank you if you read this haha. Sylvanas is just my favorite character by far and I love her lore and alot of lore about warcraft. She's got much potential for story in the future and we know she is up to something.... like the under undercity is a thing. I hope they dont just make her an enemy..... she isn't out to do that but she is out to protect her people and her own agenda. LONG LIVE THE BANSHEE QUEEN!
But there is no point in having undead in the first place. She keeps talking about how her people will die out, but her people are just a bunch of corpses. They are not a people, they are just something that should have been left dead.
GeorgeMonet I can see your side, but morally (and this is just my opinion in the case) . They may be the dead. long since should be gone. But they are undead alive now keeping their own sanity. They have their own rights as living beings whether they are undead or not. They are "Alive". They as a people have a right to survive. And it's not like they don't get a choice.

Honestly, watching this and looking back to when King Varian Wrynn and Jaina Proudmoore first came into the real front of the scenes... The two have switched places. Back then, Varian wouldn't have had second thought to disbanding the Horde. Varian is truly changing and becoming a different man. He was even the one to first agree to putting Garrosh on trial in Pandaria, as shown in the cutscene, even Thrall wasn't too sure to begin with. However, I can't help but worry about Jaina... She's changing into the way Varian used to be. Before she would have never even suggested to disband the Horde, and would have tried to find a way for the two too remain balanced. Yet now... This is not the same Jaina we once knew. But I guess we will have to wait and see the route these two go down in later expansions.
Everyone is talking about Sylvanas being the next big threat to defeat, but what about Jaina? She could take action against the Horde against Varian's will and break the peace. I think Alliance could use some inner struggle, too.

I think they really missed an opportunity with Norushen. "You stand tall atop your accomplishments, and this will be your downfall." They are talking about ridding yourself of pride. Showing humility. They should have made us battle with nothing but our fists, skills and wits. Put all your equips in your bags and manage your mana, and health without epic stats. Then he should drop nothing but level one trousers.
You mentioned how Sylvanas was acting more and more like the Lich King. You never mention that unlike the Lich King she gives her new Forsaken a choice. Serve her because you are grateful she gave them a second chance. Go pursue your own ambitions. Return to death. This is a HUGE difference between her and the Lich King.

I absolutely love this expansion, and the way it rounded out from beginning to end. The first cinematic we saw posed the question: Why do we fight? And the last cinematic we saw answered that. Absolutely great Blizzard, and great video Nobblel!
WexAndywn Actually they could be. Azhara was a night elf who became a high elf who became a Naga. She is still around. So we know it is possible. Plus I have a hard time believing that one can't use magic to make themself immortal since that is basically what the world tree does.

The only time I actually liked Hellscream was when he threw Overlord Krom'gar off the cliff in Stonetalon for killing innocents (night elves included I may add) which he considered to be doing service for the horde. Hellscream claimed killing innocents was a disgrace to the horde. Its a shame he didn't keep these same ideals to some extent, and went completely against them. It would have made him a slightly likeable character.
Well you know Blizzard their imo is randomly pick someone and make them go insane. Bam! New villain! Character development really doesn't mean much in WoW because the moment they need a new bad guy it will just flip to what they need.

Damn... I was surprised and impressed about Garrosh being the Horde's Warchief... He seemed to be bold, and strong-willed to lead the horde with iron fists and glory... But his lust for power corrupted him... And two divergent factions joined forces for the first to fight for a real purpose... I really don't want Blizzard to make Sylvanas a public enemy number 1. The Forsaken have all the rights for the lands of Lordaeron. After all, they were the ones that stayed there and fought against the Scourge and the Demons. As for the Valkyries, they are just a means to explain undead procreation or the lack of it. Sure they raise the dead, but only on their own lands. They didn't raise the dead on the battlefields of Kalimdor. The number of dead raised is not bigger than the number of orcs born, for example. As for Sylvanas, all she needs is a bit of love. And there is a perfect candidate for that role in Bolvar Fordragon. We know he awakens sooner or later. Make it happen!
We never wanted Gilneas, Garrosh wanted it. The Alliance can have the Coward Kingdom back. But apart from that they should stay on the other side of Thoradin's Wall. Leave us in peace.
Only cowards and delusional twits would excuse what Sylvanas has done, is doing and try to justify what, under the Lich King, were monstrous actions. Her use of the Valkyries is no better, period. How is this so? She asks to raise the fallen Blood Elves in the Vale of Eternal Sorrows. When Lor'themar survives, she expresses some disappointment, because she wanted to raise him as well. How IS THIS DIFFERENT? Beyond this, the Forsaken are squatters, understand? The undead legions of the Lich King that fell out of his control, they are pus-puppets and nothing else--marionettes that have not yet had their strings cut. It is human land, you literally are living where they shat. And like all squatters, if there is any justice to be had, you will be routed with prejudice. Sylvanas' use of the plague perfected by her apothecaries in Gilneas is no better than the granary plague used by Mal'Ganis in Stratholme, something considered profane. But notice how you're okay with it. Because she's on YOUR side. YOUR side is not a good thing in this instance. YOUR side will be on the wrong end of history, in the end, because they embrace one queen over the one king and think it's different because, for now, she has one of their force's benefits in mind. But remember, these are your fallen comrades.
As someone who completely skipped MoP but is planning to try WoD... this was a perfect video to understand the lore of what happened during this expansion. Thank you very much for it !
It would be cool if you made videos explaining the lore backstory of dungeons. There's a lot of interesting things behind every one, such as Blackfathom deeps relating to the Old gods in the quest item there, Lorgalis Manuscript. There's so many dungeons i dont think you would run out of content to go over.
She was in a very dark place during this event after her home was nuked by Hellscream which left her a lot of hatred for the Horde. After this event during Hellscream's escape from his trial into the past, Jaina got better when she faced a shadow of her old self back when she was younger and completely hated the Horde. The confrontation with her past self made her remember why she wanted peace between the Alliance and the Horde and since then she returned to her old self and has aimed to keep the peace between the Alliance and the Horde again.
Lorewalker cho is behind all events of mop. He helped us to find anduin. He helped us to find thunder king in kun lai summit. He pointed us to durotar in 5.3 and he helped us in siege of orgrimmar. He was always there before anyone else so i think that this whole expansion was his plan. I still dont be sure what he was planing buy doing that.
I really like your videos. Just a piece of information, Sylvannas does have the power to raise new undead. This was show during cataclysm and during her short story. This power was granted to her by some valkyres that were in the lych king platform after she went there to take her "life" (having failed to exact her revenge on Arthas). Hey Nobbel, what do you think will happen to Azeroth in the Warlords of Dreanor expansion? I mean, after the Cataclysm entire areas got flooded with water and burned by fire, will the next expansion update these areas? The water in durotar can't stay forever... The destroyed part in Stormwind can't stay destroyed forever... I'd like to see these parts actually be renovated, to see Azeroth get it's shit together again.
TheUltraCraft MC certianly after warlords some of the cataclysm's damage needs to be repaired, like the gap between the northern and southern barrens needs to be bridged heck alot of stuff needs repairs

so this is the first time i have seen the vid of what happened to the vale and all i can think is what the hell were the rest of the horde and the allys doing when he was taking a stroll though the vale with that chest? didnt anyone go hay isnt that Garosh down there maybe we should have a look and see what he's doing?
It's not like the alliance and horde have bases 10secs away from where that happened or anything. And even if they did what would the odds be that everyone would sit there since it holds portals to other cities making it the most versatile place to set your hearthstone.
***** it looks like its mainly shado-pan vs orcs but its hard to see clearly, but it dosnt look like its a big fight. its defiantly not the Ally army and i dont think its the Horde one ever. its just one of them lore vs gameplay plot holes that pop up from time to time, lore wise both sides have the mages to open massive portals to send the whole ally and horde army's though and there would have been time to do it as it takes a while to set up a mine and hang all them banners there (shouting hay guys the horde are setting up a base in the middle of the vale for some reason) but gameplay wise if we put a stop to it that easy we wouldnt have the SoO (also left to the players Thrall wouldnt need to be stopped from killing Garrosh as we would have killed Garrosh before thrall said anything)
It is likely that the heroes/adventurers/champions whatever the game calls them now were lorewise still fighting in Northern Barrens and Garrosh slipped out the back.
I doubt Sha are gone for good, if they would be so easy to defeat, Titans would had got rid of them and Curse of Old Gods before it would taken root as deep it is today.

Remember the Sha itself was created from the final breath of the Old god, so technically once their manifstations for each aspect is defeated then they should be gone for good. They are only born due to the negative emotions and feelings mixed with the ancient magics and evil of the Old gods.

OkalbarIndustries Voljin is the same height as a human when he is SITTING, he barely flexed to full height to talk to the man and the trolls, like the night elves have existed on azeroth since the beginning, they arent the half-breed runts of giant men from the north. More importantly, the Horde retook our own capital from the greatest strength the horde has ever had did you see the fucking technological jumps? from bloody catapults to wheel spike-balls-of-doom and articulated robots. That whole underground bastion of war is STILL there in full use for the rest of the horde to quietly utilize to churn out a MASSIVE army with. We just defeated all seven heads of another Old god. Retook our own impregnable fortress city and wiped out a massive army of kor'khron. Stormwind is not a city built for war, orgrimmar was built for fucking war.

I want to see your lore on Sylvanas. She is my favorite Character. Leader of my favorite Race. Long live the banshee queen! but one thing I can say is I seem to be likely biased , but see her actions differently.
1. She did join the horde because of mutual survival. That the entire reason "thralls horde exists. A place for misunderstood races to band together and live in this world against the odds.
2. When Sylvanas first brought the Blood elves into the Horde. With this action she proved she Still loves her homeland and her people. She even sent forsaken to help them hold their lands. This act showed she will defend the blood elves without a doubt.
3. When the battle for the undercity took place she escaped to orgrimmar for help. she did not betray thrall or the horde. She went there in order to get help to reclaim their city.
4.(I know there is a bunch of missing pieces with this one) Sylvanas was going to end her life after Arthas was defeated. and she did. The valykyre showed her how her people would be throwing themselves into fire because they had no reason to fight any longer. No reason to live in the undeath they were given. This didn't phase her at first. (she's also going to the same dark hell arthus is)
5.Now that She has the power to raise the undead. The forsaken will no longer die out. They can sustain themselves. The main reason Sylvanas is not the lich king and many peopole never know this is when a (not recently dead soldier) is raised (the player as an example) is given a choice. 1 kill yourselves and rest 2. live and fight for the banshee queen 3. Go off on your own and live
This choice gives her a MAJOR difference between the lich king. The forsaken have their minds, their wills, they are their own people. They are not mindless ghouls.
and to the reason she can raise dead and have them immediatly follow her is because in the heat of battle emotions are high and the rage of the fallen come back out if the person has been recently raised. (the Silverpine raised dead for example)
Thank you if you read this haha. Sylvanas is just my favorite character by far and I love her lore and alot of lore about warcraft. She's got much potential for story in the future and we know she is up to something.... like the under undercity is a thing.
I hope they dont just make her an enemy..... she isn't out to do that but she is out to protect her people and her own agenda.

But there is no point in having undead in the first place. She keeps talking about how her people will die out, but her people are just a bunch of corpses. They are not a people, they are just something that should have been left dead.
GeorgeMonet I can see your side, but morally (and this is just my opinion in the case) . They may be the dead. long since should be gone. But they are undead alive now keeping their own sanity. They have their own rights as living beings whether they are undead or not. They are "Alive". They as a people have a right to survive. And it's not like they don't get a choice.

Honestly, watching this and looking back to when King Varian Wrynn and Jaina Proudmoore first came into the real front of the scenes... The two have switched places.
Back then, Varian wouldn't have had second thought to disbanding the Horde. Varian is truly changing and becoming a different man. He was even the one to first agree to putting Garrosh on trial in Pandaria, as shown in the cutscene, even Thrall wasn't too sure to begin with.
However, I can't help but worry about Jaina... She's changing into the way Varian used to be. Before she would have never even suggested to disband the Horde, and would have tried to find a way for the two too remain balanced. Yet now... This is not the same Jaina we once knew.
But I guess we will have to wait and see the route these two go down in later expansions.

I think they really missed an opportunity with Norushen. "You stand tall atop your accomplishments, and this will be your downfall." They are talking about ridding yourself of pride. Showing humility. They should have made us battle with nothing but our fists, skills and wits. Put all your equips in your bags and manage your mana, and health without epic stats.

WexAndywn Actually they could be. Azhara was a night elf who became a high elf who became a Naga. She is still around. So we know it is possible. Plus I have a hard time believing that one can't use magic to make themself immortal since that is basically what the world tree does.
The Kor'kron Dark shamans are probably one of the most awesome looking bosses. Their ability animations are epic

The only time I actually liked Hellscream was when he threw Overlord Krom'gar off the cliff in Stonetalon for killing innocents (night elves included I may add) which he considered to be doing service for the horde. Hellscream claimed killing innocents was a disgrace to the horde. Its a shame he didn't keep these same ideals to some extent, and went completely against them. It would have made him a slightly likeable character.
Well you know Blizzard their imo is randomly pick someone and make them go insane. Bam! New villain! Character development really doesn't mean much in WoW because the moment they need a new bad guy it will just flip to what they need.

I really don't want Blizzard to make Sylvanas a public enemy number 1. The Forsaken have all the rights for the lands of Lordaeron. After all, they were the ones that stayed there and fought against the Scourge and the Demons. As for the Valkyries, they are just a means to explain undead procreation or the lack of it. Sure they raise the dead, but only on their own lands. They didn't raise the dead on the battlefields of Kalimdor. The number of dead raised is not bigger than the number of orcs born, for example. As for Sylvanas, all she needs is a bit of love. And there is a perfect candidate for that role in Bolvar Fordragon. We know he awakens sooner or later. Make it happen!
Lordaeron belongs to the forsaken but Gilneas, Alterac, Dalaran and Stromgarde does not. I strongly support that the Alliance would retake Gilneas.
We never wanted Gilneas, Garrosh wanted it. The Alliance can have the Coward Kingdom back. But apart from that they should stay on the other side of Thoradin's Wall. Leave us in peace.
Only cowards and delusional twits would excuse what Sylvanas has done, is doing and try to justify what, under the Lich King, were monstrous actions. Her use of the Valkyries is no better, period. How is this so? She asks to raise the fallen Blood Elves in the Vale of Eternal Sorrows. When Lor'themar survives, she expresses some disappointment, because she wanted to raise him as well. How IS THIS DIFFERENT?
Beyond this, the Forsaken are squatters, understand? The undead legions of the Lich King that fell out of his control, they are pus-puppets and nothing else--marionettes that have not yet had their strings cut. It is human land, you literally are living where they shat. And like all squatters, if there is any justice to be had, you will be routed with prejudice. Sylvanas' use of the plague perfected by her apothecaries in Gilneas is no better than the granary plague used by Mal'Ganis in Stratholme, something considered profane.
But notice how you're okay with it. Because she's on YOUR side. YOUR side is not a good thing in this instance. YOUR side will be on the wrong end of history, in the end, because they embrace one queen over the one king and think it's different because, for now, she has one of their force's benefits in mind.
But remember, these are your fallen comrades.

It would be cool if you made videos explaining the lore backstory of dungeons. There's a lot of interesting things behind every one, such as Blackfathom deeps relating to the Old gods in the quest item there, Lorgalis Manuscript. There's so many dungeons i dont think you would run out of content to go over.

I can't believe Jaina would betray Thrall like that, whatever happened to the truce they made in Warcraft 3?
She was in a very dark place during this event after her home was nuked by Hellscream which left her a lot of hatred for the Horde. After this event during Hellscream's escape from his trial into the past, Jaina got better when she faced a shadow of her old self back when she was younger and completely hated the Horde. The confrontation with her past self made her remember why she wanted peace between the Alliance and the Horde and since then she returned to her old self and has aimed to keep the peace between the Alliance and the Horde again.
Lorewalker cho is behind all events of mop. He helped us to find anduin. He helped us to find thunder king in kun lai summit. He pointed us to durotar in 5.3 and he helped us in siege of orgrimmar. He was always there before anyone else so i think that this whole expansion was his plan. I still dont be sure what he was planing buy doing that.
Varian has been shown to be a definite badass.
I'm liking Varian more as he settles from just being a jackass into a real ruler. And I have always been horde.
I really like your videos. Just a piece of information, Sylvannas does have the power to raise new undead. This was show during cataclysm and during her short story. This power was granted to her by some valkyres that were in the lych king platform after she went there to take her "life" (having failed to exact her revenge on Arthas). I mean, after the Cataclysm entire areas got flooded with water and burned by fire, will the next expansion update these areas? The water in durotar can't stay forever... The destroyed part in Stormwind can't stay destroyed forever...
I'd like to see these parts actually be renovated, to see Azeroth get it's shit together again.

TheUltraCraft MC certianly after warlords some of the cataclysm's damage needs to be repaired, like the gap between the northern and southern barrens needs to be bridged heck alot of stuff needs repairs

so this is the first time i have seen the vid of what happened to the vale and all i can think is what the hell were the rest of the horde and the allys doing when he was taking a stroll though the vale with that chest? didnt anyone go hay isnt that Garosh down there maybe we should have a look and see what he's doing?

It's not like the alliance and horde have bases 10secs away from where that happened or anything. And even if they did what would the odds be that everyone would sit there since it holds portals to other cities making it the most versatile place to set your hearthstone.

its just one of them lore vs gameplay plot holes that pop up from time to time, lore wise both sides have the mages to open massive portals to send the whole ally and horde army's though and there would have been time to do it as it takes a while to set up a mine and hang all them banners there (shouting hay guys the horde are setting up a base in the middle of the vale for some reason) but gameplay wise if we put a stop to it that easy we wouldnt have the SoO (also left to the players Thrall wouldnt need to be stopped from killing Garrosh as we would have killed Garrosh before thrall said anything)

It is likely that the heroes/adventurers/champions whatever the game calls them now were lorewise still fighting in Northern Barrens and Garrosh slipped out the back.

I doubt Sha are gone for good, if they would be so easy to defeat, Titans would had got rid of them and Curse of Old Gods before it would taken root as deep it is today.
I'm guessing some part of the sha still remains in garrosh and I bet it will reveal itself soon.

Remember the Sha itself was created from the final breath of the Old god, so technically once their manifstations for each aspect is defeated then they should be gone for good. They are only born due to the negative emotions and feelings mixed with the ancient magics and evil of the Old gods.

Voljin is the same height as a human when he is SITTING, he barely flexed to full height to talk to the man and the trolls, like the night elves have existed on azeroth since the beginning, they arent the half-breed runts of giant men from the north.
More importantly, the Horde retook our own capital from the greatest strength the horde has ever had did you see the fucking technological jumps? from bloody catapults to wheel spike-balls-of-doom and articulated robots.
That whole underground bastion of war is STILL there in full use for the rest of the horde to quietly utilize to churn out a MASSIVE army with.
We just defeated all seven heads of another Old god. Retook our own impregnable fortress city and wiped out a massive army of kor'khron.
Stormwind is not a city built for war, orgrimmar was built for fucking war.
