The thing that gets me about this AMG heads upgrade ?
they lighten the rockers and spring retainers, then fit heavier valves cancelling out any weight saving
also the original cams were already AMG ( the standard ones don't have AMG stamped on the ends )
which they replace with aftermarket non-AMG camshafts
saying that
in reality the real AMG engines fitted to real AMG SECs had 4 camshaft heads.
Not all AMG SEC/SE"s had the m117 DOHC engine.There was also SOHC Amg engines were built. ;)

Every buyer usually tries to pay less than the seller wants and every seller always asks for more than they are actually expecting or hoping to get. One of my cars, I paid the asking price, because I felt it was worth it, while another was already ridiculously cheap, but because i was taking a risk with it, I low balled him and he accepted. So you just never really know until you are standing there trying to negotiate.

If you actually watched the episode, the guy who bought it essentially got the car as a trade for him letting them use his amg body kit for the episode. He paid them less than a tenth of what the car’s worth. His stinginess is embarrassing.

Guys, Mike and China, I don't know what you did but the passenger door, especially the chrome trim(on the right side in this case) aligned better before you bought it then after restoration!🤦♂️🤦♂️😅😅

As much as I love Mercedes I'm with Ed on the pillarless coupes. What was the point in going to America if you're gonna do so many European, British, and Japanese cars? The odd one perhaps, in order to get them rust free, but all the gorgeous cars they had over there in the States. Goodness, America was full of pillarless coupes, they probably invented them.
