Thanks Martin, really appreciate it mate. And you're right, I didn't think they did a bad looking one... Definitely one of my favourites 😊 p.s I picked something up recently which I think you'll like, so will be sending it your way.. I'll be doing a video on Sunday which will probably include it so unfortunately no surprises. All the best anyways Martin and speak soon.

Awesome video John!! Real life got in my way for a while there. Working out of town and just generally being far too busy for anything. Catching up on some olds stuff. I just love this collection of Galaxies. Awesome stuff my friend.

Hi Kyle, thanks so much for your kind words and again absolutely no need to apologise. We all have busy lives and I'm the worst for all that kind of thing. Absolutely loving your channel anyways and really pleased to see you're doing great with all. Glad you liked the video and hopefully will get some more down off the shelves soon. Always good to hear from you anyways no matter how long between messages 🙂

So glad to see You , well hear You, again John!! Great Video!! Hey, I understand about life, it is there, 24/7, but, hey, that's life!! Never a dull moment right. As I said, G-R-E-A-T video!! I am fascinated with Your subjects! It is like a history class in plastic!! You have amassed quite the very nice collection of Galaxies there John! Some of those are very, very sharp. You going to finish the red one? You have a knack for homing in on the "surprise" items with the deals! I am very pleased that You pulled no punches with how You felt about the "arse" with the unsavory business practices! Shame that some have to act in such a manner, even more so that a fellow Yank was responsible! Very sorry to hear of that, not "all" of Us are like that. I agree with You as well on the price of new kits , I buy few and far between. As of late I have been trading a few things, paying for shipping isn't as "painful!" HA! Hey, You have a great week, weekend, day! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, looking forward to the next video! Later!

Hi Russell, great to hear from you too mate and really glad you're still enjoying the videos despite how few I'm managing to get out at the moment. I do enjoy it though when I find a bit of time to get these down off the shelves for another look especially as some have been in bags for many many years. Really glad you enjoy my ramblings too, I know many won't but I'm just spilling my thoughts on this old stuff as I look at them one by one and hopefully the bits of history I do know are welcomed by others too. And yes, I think that 67 Galaxie deal did get me a bit enraged, especially as a seller myself it just really annoyed me that the guy continued to bump up his other auctions despite me reporting it to eBay well in advance of auction end dates.... Ah well, we moved on quickly from things like that. I think for me prices on new kits are just the same as new cars, it just pains me to see a depreciation as soon as you buy one knowing if I got bored of it in 6 months I'd lose a good 40% on it, and though there has never been a better time for the hobby with all the great kits round2 are releasing, by the time we see them over here it's almost like the excitement of seeing them has passed and we're just getting teased with more great news kits we can't get, haha 😂. Oh well, still glad they are doing what they are doing 🙂 thanks again Russell and hope you're keeping well mate.

John great video brother and very cool old vintage Galaxie models and you know I love the 67 convertible and 68 stock car Galaxie!! Those 66 convertible kits are really cool as well! I got the 67 airfix mustang from Gary and now I want more vintage Airfix American cars lol 😂😊❤

Thanks so much Shawn, really appreciate and was good just to take a couple of hours out and have a look through this old stuff again. 67-68s are definitely cool, especially happy with that resin one 🙂 I've got a few of those Airfix kits now, probably three of the Gtos, a couple of the Mustang's and one of the chargers. I think they were released in 68 over here and probably a way to milk another year out of end of line tooling, shame they didn't do more of them really. Hope you're doing okay anyways Shawn and I'll probably drop you an email soon too 🙂❤️

@J.B.Scale.Creations I'll be looking forward to hearing from you and I was very surprised and excited to get Gary's package in the mail 😀 and those airfix are very cool and not seen much over here. One day I have to go through my parts because I have a bunch of vintage grills, bumpers, and wheels covers that I need to send you lol 😆 talk to you soon brother ❤️

When did you send the last email? I can't see anything since before Christmas but I'll drop you a message this weekend regardless to check everything is working okay with that account. Nice to see you’re back John. I have one of those resin ‘67 four-door Galaxies, I’ll see if there’s a manufacturer mentioned anywhere…
Best thing about the 1962 model was they shared wheelcovers with the Mk4 Zodiac and Mk1 Transit. 😮

Hi Mike! 😊 That would be great thanks mate, to be honest I have no idea on that one and would be good to know who did it. Recently picked up a grail 71 Riviera but it seems massive even for 1/24 so the excitement on that one was a little short lived 😂 never knew that about the 62 Galaxie/zodiac connection. I remember we went to look at loads when I was young when my dad was thinking of buying one, but eventually ended up with a MklV Zephyr but that was sold on quite quickly, I can't even remember what colour it was now. Hope you're keeping well anyways mate and speak soon no doubt 🙂

@@J.B.Scale.Creations the ‘71 Riveria was a pretty big car in reality, mate had one with computerised traction control which sounds much grander than it was…

@@CycolacFan I was always thinking they would be one of the relatively smaller ones until I was dropping a friend off at Leeds airport, decided to go the back way through some wooded windy roads and someone driving a 73 came round the corner and nearly went head on into me... I didn't think anything more than how big it seemed to my e38 (though that was only the size of a more modern 5 series now). I'll try some monogram wheels under it and see if I get a change of heart on it as I don't think I'll find another any time soon.

That's is one good collection of galaxies! The hard ones to find to me are the 65 Ford galaxie conv n the 66 conv n 67 conv, 67 4dr ! But you are missing the 65 4 Dr n the 65 2 Dr sedan(this sedan is not a call galaxie but it's call custom)because u only have r hardtops or fastbacks n 65 4 Dr and tell me do you have any country wide station wagons? Those wagons are very hard to find! I'm a huge fan of the 60s Galaxies especially the 65 Galaxie 500XL because I own one! Plus I grew up with galaxies in my life! Take care n God bless!

@@josegracia7633 Thanks Jose, really glad you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately though I'm a massive 4 door fan, unfortunately they aren't that available. Modelhaus used to do some great bodies of both the sedan and wagons but they are extremely rare now and very expensive. Must admit the Galaxies are one of my favourite cars, especially the 65 which I've just recently finished a model of for the channel. Will always be on the look out for other 4-doors so if I ever find any they will be shown on here and most likely built too. Many thanks again and thanks for the kind comments. 🙂
