U did an awesome job!! Great video! I cant believe how little time u spend on highway (which is good) it was like doing ur G2 test and she seem like a really pleasant test lady
Ur welcome girl! I have my G test in a week . I've been watching ur video over n over! I even told my instructor to watch it too! Lol I said to him make sure u pay attention cuz this is how I want to drive on that day 💯
Hello Cud you explain When you’re about to stop on the side of the road, what signals you have to put on and than when leaving ? And also with the turn around on the street, do just put the emergence lights on ?
@@jenmartinez1739 I cleared my G on Thursday at Newmarket (first attempt)!! Feels awesome to hear those words in the end doesn’t it? Congratulations, you have passed the Ministry’s standards! :))) And yes you’re right, it is very crucial to change the lane before or after the intersection. My instructor had to tell me that a couple of times to not keep repeating that mistake! I made one small error(dropped down to 95) while lane changing on the highway, but merging and other highway lane changes were alright so I think she let that go as well! She said speeding just a tad while lane changing is better compared to under speeding
@@omarrwilliams9209 Thank you so much! I was just a little worried because tomorrow is my road test and i feel too slow doing 30kmph when entering the highway.
Thanks for posting this! I have my test on the 10th in Newmarket. Around 14:28 when you were moving to the left lane, did you go into the left lane too early as you could have turned left into the street before the light? Should you have waiting to pass that street before moving into the left lane or is that ok?
Hi Claire, yes I definitely did change lanes too early, should've waited until I passed that street before moving into the lane. And good luck with your test!!
@@jenmartinez1739 Hi Jen, at the end did she ask you to front park on the left side (with the numbered spots) or the right? The reason I'm asking is I have trouble front parking into my right when I'm on the right lane lol I rather they ask me to do rear
at 7:16 she says next lamp post ahead pull over to the right. park your vehicle as if you were going out to check a problem (road side stop) at 8:20 next lamp post up ahead, pull over to the right. when it is safe to do so, perform a 3 point turn, use the roadway and don't enter any driveways Hope that helps!
Hi Waleed, my test was originally scheduled for 1:30pm but it didn't start until closer to 2pm. One comment the examiner made was to make sure you merge onto the highway at a good speed. My first merge was good (20:30) but I was slightly slow on the second time merging (23:25) I think I was merging at around 90 km/hr, they want you to try and merge as close to the 100km speed limit as possible. Other than that just be sure to check your blind spots at all turns, exaggerate your head movements so the examiner could see that you're doing your mirror checks, make sure you're not speeding especially on the downhill sections of the test, and scan in both directions when passing intersections. Good luck on your test! You got this!
do you only have to scan the intersection if you are at a stop sign, or traffic light ? Or do you also have to scan the int by moving your head when drive pass an int that is your right of way? For ex, driving pass an int in a residential area or passing through an intersection without any stop signs on a main road ?
@@adamaj233 Yeah you should scan the road looking both ways every time you pass an intersection with a stop sign/ traffic light & even without stop signs and in residential areas
BEWRE OF ELISHA Very intimidating instructor ELISHA, she is very rude and I hope no one here gets her as instructor, she decides as soon as sees you, "you know what I mean". Making a mistake is one thing but harassing a driver for 20 minutes is unacceptable. she is not even explaining mistakes. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HER, add few move feet's into COVID distance. She needs to sort out her anger issues first. REFUSE TO TAKE THE TEST WITH ELISHA...YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE
If this Elisha is that bad, why hasn’t anyone submitted a formal complaint? I know if I were treated disrespectfully, felt like she has harassing me, I would be sure to make her life miserable once I was done with her. So hopefully this is not the case. To be on the safe side, I am recording the whole damn thing
Are the examiners usually use the same routes?
Thanks for posting this video! Have my G test in two weeks at Newmarket as well and hoping I pass the first time!!

Hey Jen! Great driving! I noticed that you changed lane from the left to the right during an intersection at 04:22. Did the examiner point that out?
hey thanks Pranit! No she didn't say anything, I didn't even realize I did that haha. I definitely should've changed before or after though!

Few days ago I passed my g test, it was very easy.
too much traffic on the hwy but still easy since it’s only 2 lanes.
What time did you go with too much traffic?
@@marlenem2603 it was about 3pm
Hi Jen! Do you have to follow the yellow speed limit sign when entering and exiting the highway?
Yellow speed sign is just a recommended speed. You don’t have to follow exactly, but be relatively close (within 15km or so)

What was the examiner saying about the right turn at 24:48? I cannot hear it clearly. Thanks.
Didn't you technically just change lanes at an intersection 4:20
technically it's a crosswalk but yes definitely should try to avoid changing lanes at any crosswalks or intersections
