I passed my exam this week. I want to share some tips, hoping they could help.
1, Start driving only when you hear the instruction. (DON’T move automatically)
2, When you are unclear about the instruction, kindly ASK, ASK and ASK.
3, DON’T think of how many mistakes you have made, focus on the road ahead of you.
4, DO what the examiner lets you do. ( If the speed is 50, you drive at such speed. But the examiner just let you slow down a bit, you do it)
5, Finish strong to the last minute ( DON’T rush to ask the result because the result is already on the sheet.)
6, If you know you have the habit of forgetting signals or shoulder checks, write it on your backhands. ( REMINDER to yourself )
7, Turn off your phone when driving.
8, Say “thank you” to the examiner.
9, Watch THIS above video.

My test is tomorrow and I have a question for the hill parking. Do you have to creep forwards/backwards when turning the wheel and if so should the car be in neutral?

Passed yesterday. Practice driving around the driving center. Reverse Park into the lot. Indicate whenever you're turning the car even if it's just out of your parking spot. Stop before the stop line l. Don't go before it's stated don't feel stressed to go. I did downhill parking, three-point turns two left turns, one right turn, and reverse parking when back from the driving test. They made reverse park at a rounded corner. I had an excellent driving insteuctor! It felt like 5 minutes
I have a question, during the road test, if we are making a left turn in the residence area so it’s obvious that we check for incoming traffic and pedestrians but if the car is far and it’s safe for us to move can we move? Also if we are turning left at an intersection should we let the pedestrian be completely on the other side, I failed because the pedestrian touched the pavement but was not completely on the sidewalk.
got my road test on november 30th.. got 10 driving lessons booked from now until then, and plan on watching this video at least 10x a day till test day
I wouldn’t do November since it might be cold and maybe snowy.

Today I Cleared My G2 Test in first attempt at NewMarket this video helped a lot.
Tip=Hit the curb in up/down hill parking to make sure your car is safe and wont skit in any conditions .

@@EvgeniyC Thanks Bud, I passed the test. Also the route was similar which you explained in the video. Main tips are very precisely given in your video(s). 1) lane change during highway run(s). 2) lane changes on Davis road, parallel parking, roadside stop, 3 point turn using only road (not the driveway or without touching curb) ...you explain things very well ...thank you and keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Failed my G2 test today. Didnt expect the whole experience to be done in or 7 or 8 mins. Had to do parallel, downhill, and 3 point turn all at once which was unrealistic and stressful. Sadly, I thought this video would help but looks like they changed the route - When I was turning left and trying to stop for a pedestrian my examiner started shouting stop stop stop and it freaked me out and lead to a fail even though I stopped.
Who was your examiner? Did you reverse park?

When in November I have it too in New Market
The route I was given was different, we didn’t even go into the residential area, just around the industrial area. I failed right away from taking too long to turn left (I misjudged how fast a car was going) 🤦🏻♀️ and the instructor made me super nervous, but if you have your test here, just try to stay calm. I also didn’t have to parallel park which was nice, but I had to do a three-point turn on a busier road and the examiner was visibly annoyed that I was waiting but cars were coming from both directions so it wasn’t safe to do it right away. Anyway, good luck to anyone taking the test soon!

If the examiner asks you to make left lane change, do you have to get back on the right lane after a little while? Also at 20:04, isnt the line yellow line solid when hes making a left lane change?
It was a solid dash line. Solid on the left but dotted on the right, meaning rights side can cross into lane

Uphill parking you turn the wheels to the left? If it's a straight road turn the wheels to the right?
It is always to the right except when its uphill with a curb, then it's to the left

I'm not a good driver. I know what I'm talking about because, in the past year I had 10-11 test. out of those 10-11 tests. I probably failed maybe 10- 11 times.

TIPS:
Passed my G2 exam and wanted to give some input from personal experience to those looking to take it at this location.
1. There is a decent chance your examination route will NOT be EXACTLY the same as this video, so dont count on perfecting this route too much. My route and some ppl i know had different routes than this. Do not prep thinking this video or any video on youtube contains your exact exam. However, it will be quite similar and won't deviate too far from the expectations presented from this video. Use this video to get familiar only.
2. 3-point turns, Up/Down parking, Parallel parking is practically guaranteed and might be done back to back in one street spot, as me and some other commenter in this video has experienced. I personally wasn't asked to do reverse parking at the end, might just be because I had a strong showing in my examination leading up to returning to the center and my examiner probably waived off the need to do it. But I'd say prepare for reverse anyways since I saw other examinees doing it and ppl in this comment section has done it.
3. Parking lot at the center tends to be a bit busy and WILL NOT be empty like it is in this video. Prepare parking and moving in fairly crowded parking lot if you find yourself uncomfortable in that scenario. Otherwise, disregard this tip.
4. Signal all your turns in the parking lot, including when you are parking. Even if no one is around in the parking lot, do it, chances of passing your examination will be affected if missed.
5. Do not feel rushed to make a turn or finish a park, take your time and be safe! If you rush to squeeze in a turn at the cost of a close accident in the eyes of the examiner, they will most likely fail you right away, doesn't matter if you think it was close enough or not! However, if you unnecessarily take way too long to make a turn when it is safe, that might affect whether you pass or not. Just a rule of thumb, be safe but not paranoid.

Went for my first attempt G2 at Newmarket a few weeks ago and failed without having any major mistakes. The Asian examiner is hella rude and we had a big argument. I went again today and passed easily. The second examiner was so damn chill. Route was super easy and short

I had the same guy the reason I failed was cause I went into a turning lane over a solid line but he told me to turn so late that it wouldn’t be possible to go on the dotted and then I tried to argue with him after and he had no argument he just yelled at me and got out the car
@@NAV-x9r0 sadly that is on you. If you miss your turn you do not fail (assuming you didn't brake any rule of the road), but if you do break rules to follow instructions it's an automatic fail.

Passed my G2 today! my instructor's name was Nash he looked strict but was super polite and very nice! I was asked to do Lane changes, uphill parking, 3 point turn and reverse parking.
Route I went on:
From the drivetest parking plaza from the stop sign i turned left on to harry walker pkwy.
Then went on straight from the first signal and was asked to turn to the left on to Stackhouse RD.
Straight onto stackhouse I went on straight and was asked to turn Left onto Leslie Street. Then was asked to lane change.
Then went on straight and turned right on Gorham street.
Then was asked to take the first right onto a residential street, was then asked to do uphill parking and a 3 point turn.
And lastly took the same route back towards the drivetest center was asked to change lanes on leslie street, once going back i was informed head of time (before arriving to the drivetest parking lot) that we were going to be doing reverse parking.
Then my test was done and he congratulated me.
Duration of my test was about 8-10 mins (honestly felt like 2 minutes to me)
Tip:
Wear something comfortable, Since my test was in the winter i had to wear a jacket (ofc) but don't forget to wear something light, because it will be easy to move freely when you are "exaggerating" your movements for example putting your chest up close towards the steering wheel to check for on coming traffic etc.

The guy didn't check his rear view mirror at all....and they want you to exaggerate it on the test and move your whole head not just your eyes and check every 5-10 seconds.

Do they always have you reverse park? My instructor with young drivers say it’s not on the test. I failed my first test in Etobicoke and have a 2nd in Newmarket in a month and I’m very very stressed.
