YES Gordon!! I've been following your videos since the T5, immensely helpful. Much respect for putting these together to help your fellow brethren. I've got the same bulkhead around the side, I haven't tackled it yet, I removed the bit from the floor with an angle grinder, made a bit of a mess, was thinking about a spot weld drill bit for the sides. Now I'm gonna wait for YOU, to see how its done, no pressure. Would be grateful for as much info you have on how you treat areas you used a grinder on and how you tidy up the old screw holes etc... Thanks again :)
Excellent all i could find is how to FIT ply in to your Dub 🤷🏼♂️ I need it all ripped out to get insulating foam sprayed in and fit my solar and electrical system wiring in! 👍🏻
Hi Gordon could you confirm the DVLA regs you’ll be working too as I’ve herd on the grape vine that a pop top is no longer acceptable for a camper-van conversion...???????
I am also very interested in this. I have been looking at getting a t5.1 or t6 to convert & the latest DVLA bs would appear to have ruled them both out for conversions. What the hell are they playing at? Why the hell would i want caravan style graphics down both sides of my van???
It's disappointing, but not that bothered. It makes no difference to my insurance either way, so just V5c, plus the fact it could be harder to sell, but hey ho, it is what it is I guess!
Hi GDUBTV what you make of the new DVLA rules on van conversions is it worth doing small vw camper vans with a pop tops now , conversions seem to be pointless when insurance will kill you on modifications as its still classed as a van . There killing it for us 😞
I'm going to do a video on it pretty soon! Brentacre Insurance are great in that they don't care if it's reclassified. New DVLA rules seem ridiculous!!

That’s a great start. Looking forward to seeing the bulkhead brackets being removed as I need to do that exact job.

Hi mate, are you bothered about not being to register this with DVLA as a motor caravan?
It's disappointing, but not that bothered. It makes no difference to my insurance either way, so just V5c, plus the fact it could be harder to sell, but hey ho, it is what it is I guess!

It always amazes me that ply lining companies still screw the floor down with self tappers. It's crazy .
It is indeed crazy! 👊🏼😎😜
