Many of your near future tech videos are for the wealthy. There's no way an average person could afford the technologies and lifestyles portrayed in these videos unless massive advancements in foundation technologies that benefit human society such as AGI and/or nanotechnology are perfected. These are pipe dreams. Pretty and desirable dreams, but dreams nonetheless.
you are wrong and i will tell you why, the wealthiest kings of history never enjoyed the luxuries you have today, a life free of bugs and rodents, light by a flick of a switch, water from tapes, very few diseases, close to 95% chance all your kids will make it to adulthood, instant communication and information, cars, airplanes etc etc, when a technology is new, its expensive hence can be afforded by the wealthy only, but soon economies of scale sets in and production costs begin to come down hence more and more people get access and before you know it, it's so common that you just no longer think about it nor imagine a world where its scarce.
I don’t think the world is going to look like a fantasy movie in 2050. There will be a smell in the air, and it won’t smell like victory.
