    I'd add from my experience, that staffing agencies have been super good to me in Houston. I was offered quite a few corporate and mi level accounting positions and luckily due to rona, they were all work from home jobs too. I will say, that I reached out to them vs them to me and also sent follow up emails. Just advice for any professionals

    Solid recap on that topic. Being in the Houston area a little over a year now, despite Big City Poverty, COVID19, etc..... If anyone get's out and about they will definitely still see that Entrepreneurial Energy, that H-Town Hustle and even Continuous Corporate growth with the Rural areas transitioning to Suburban or bustling town. Definitely an atmosphere to make it what you want it to be.

    • @HanginWithTheYoungs
      @HanginWithTheYoungs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree! It’s continuing to grow for sure and now many folks have their eye on Houston especially after pandemic hit. Would love to know some of your favorite things to do or places to go in H-Town.

    • @daeraeceo
      @daeraeceo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HanginWithTheYoungs So here’s one of the ironic and cool things to come out of the whole COVID19 situation, Houston is SO BIG and especially with things being locked down and events being postponed, over a year in and it’s like we are still waiting to explore our new place! Not to mention Houston’s location. We’ve made “same day beach runs”, and that could be to Gavelston where you get that regular tourist kind of beach vibe or to Surfside where you can pull up and post up right on the beach in your vehicle and even do bon fires. Then you’ve got San Antonio, Austin and Dallas all approx 3 hours away, with a whole lot of little town gems in between.
      We love to eat, shop and hang out, so we’ve got a few “routine” food spots LOL, And shopping is plentiful, whether a thrift shopper, boutique shopper or niche shopper, and there’s plenty of your regular chain stores too. Sporting options are unlimited, from all athletics to hunting/fishing and even leisure ranges for guns, bows, axes, you name it and they got a range for it... FRFR.😂.
      But one of the dopest parts so far has been meeting some Real Genuine People, and then being of different race & ethnic backgrounds, ages, etc.... Looking forward to hopefully linking up with you all. D, check your FB DM.
      Love Y’all’s channel. You’ve got a fan, I’ll be watching and supporting!

Also, Houston actually does have over 25 fortune 500 companies, and more tech companies are coming.

    it’s a lot of hassle to get a corporate job in Houston. Even if you eventually get one , the pay will be so ridiculously low compare to jobs in Dallas and other part of Texas . If you are into nursing or into medical jobs, then u are good to go. Been here for 10 month and to be honest , I regret moving out of Dallas to Houston . 10 month here, and still no good paying job.
