Sorry folks, but this is the only Day’s Of Our lives theme that matters to me and I am 64 and it went by as quickly as the sand in the hour glass. I went from a giant family to now; moms gone, dad’s gone, grand parents both gone family siblings disowned aunts Uncles cousins once known; But Jesus Christ my Lord and personal Savior is still around since I asked Him In prayer in 1973 In heaven some day I will see my aunt willie who prayed me into the kingdom of God and and all family members in the faith whoever met Jesus Christ on earth . What a glorious meeting that will be.

Days had the right idea. Develop a theme, keep it consistent, keep it simple. It's totally iconic. Any tinkering they did was just to tweak and improve.

Julie went from a troubled teen, shoplifting in the first episode to Horton matriarch, and just became widowed. Can't wait to see the memorial episode of Doug. I am hoping that Hope and Bo return for his memorial.
The "O" in "our" should be capitalized, but never mind, this opening stands the test of time, and is one of the all-time greats.. The opening has changed over time -- the hourglass, the tempo -- but not much. And that's a good thing. Still fun to watch, too. Sami and Lucas are back, like old friends, like sands through the hourglass....
Not that it matters, but as an English teacher, I can say you wouldn’t capitalize the “o” in our. Words three letter or less in a title and aren’t major words go lowercase.

I’ve never seen one episode of this soap but it’s one of my favorite soap themes.
This show keeps it simple. I like that that it's always been a spinning hourglass, a single theme song, and the Sands through an hourglass monologue.

They recorded a new intro in 1993 before Carey died, when they updated the intro, which has been used since.
