    Richard Dawkins is a brilliant, genuine and humanitarian genius that many people can't understand.

    • @filmeseverin
      @filmeseverin ปีที่แล้ว

      Mr. Richard Dawkins is in error because evolution is not an argument against God's existence because the entire process until humans time proves the existence of God, *the results of a process proving the intelligence involved into that process* (and because *from no intelligence involved, no intelligence comes).*
      Furthermore, the conventional biological evolution is hiding the facts about Satan and the other fallen angels who, according to the "Parable of the weeds", have altered this world, the DNA... (making the carnivores, the parasites, the viruses, bad bacteria etc....) to sustain the useless suffering while, initially, all insects, animals etc. were feeding only with plants (plants products, such as fruits, nectar, seeds etc.).
      The fallen angels, being sadistic, have altered the DNA of most living things (including us) to do as default both: reproduce uncontrollably (as much as they can) and fight (kill) each other. Unfortunately, they love to see living things suffering, especially human beings suffering.
      They want to destroy us since our physical body conception (all the time in any way possible). That is why they make us suffer, as much as possible, by using our stupidity and the stupidity of the other people around us.

      Which indicates that Dawkins more of an honest person. Because when Dawkins was giving a detailed explanation of the evolution of the eye. The interviewer sat there nodding and pretending to listen, for him to only admit “my mind went to genesis.” At least Dawkins didn’t bother to pretend to listen.

He knows 1000x more than the people who lived when Jesus lived and therefore can use logic and basic scientific method (hypothesis, blind test, repeatable?) to test christianity. I love this interview because it's so iconic of how young earth creationists seem to think. They ask a question they think is a "gotcha" question, and then when they get an answer their eyes glaze over and after the explanation is over, it looks like they literally wake up and then completely ignore everything that's been said. Like this guy does after the bit about eyes. "Oh, sorry, I was thinking about Genesis there for a bit." or whatever he says.
    And Richards face goes darker and darker red

    • @Omnicient.
      @Omnicient. ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think they have hard time analysing and when an explanation is offered it becomes too much as they're used to accepting anything without question. It's like middle America; they need simplicity and no conversation should be more than one possibly two sentences. They just don't analyse because of they did...

    Interesting the strategies used by the interviewer to remain 'unconvinced'
    1. Start asking another question before taking on board and responding to the detailed argument presented by Richard...so it is never concluded
    2. The 'I'm a simple man' response to justify why he doesn't understand what's just been explained in great detail
    3. The 'Your answer MUST be compatible with MY understanding of the Bible - otherwise I won't believe it' response.
    4. Call on the expertise of unnamed 'Bible scholars' to make a case - but cannot identify who they are.
    If anyone regards the Bible as a trustworthy source of information, I suggest watching some of the videos by Dr Bart Ehrman.

      Maybe it is she who is not happy if she needs such phycological cushions. It literally is a waste of time having conversations with them. In time, as we all increasingly understand human psychology with all its phycological needs, such thinking will become less and less. At my workplace there were two black women from surprise, surprise, Africa, who were pleasant and lovely, but who were trying to lead me into their belief system by again speaking in delusional childlike ways. I said that all religions, like all Gods, are man made constructs for those who pathologically cannot accept reality. They couldn't continue probably because they hadn't thought of it that way and this is what happens; little of what is real and proven is allowed. I went to an Irish school that would promote Catholicism and as a child I would look at these teachers and think how could they believe such fantasies? They never present evidence/proof as they're literally unable to and because they were religious they were vicious if anyone questioned them as it would make them question their beliefs so I would naturally stay quiet. We see how dangerous such minds are today especially in USA and how the religious, right wing mind must have everything its way or else. But thinking doesn't come into it. It is forced into generation after generation to such an extent that they are hypnotised.

    People have been changing things, plants and animals over the past hundreds of years, especially the last fifty years with plants. GMOs have changed our plants hundreds of times already regardless of whether we want them to be changed or not. Our dogs all came from the good old wolf, even the poodle. That's not hard to see. Who knows what they'll turn into in a thousand years or a million. If you can't see these things changing before your very eyes, you need very strong glasses.

    In this country you have the absolute right to your religious beliefs in your heart and mind in your home,church,synagogues,mosques,temples,private religious schools and your social gatherings. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees that right. It’s when delusional fanatics start trying to make their religious beliefs and views the law of the land. That’s why people with skeptical rational thinking will not tolerate religious laws being made.We aim to in force the First Amendment and keep Church And State Separate!

    Dawkins says “The light has to penetrate this forest of nerves” “Any sensible designer would have had the nerves behind the light sensitive cells” he calls this a “fundamental design flaw” - Really? The inverted eye filters out most of the UV light. The light travels through the nerves etc which filters it. The octopus does not need this filter since it lives under water where most of the UV light is filtered out. Besides, the inverted eye creates the sharpest image of any other kind.

    The first "prophecy" in the Bible is when God told Adam that he would die "in the day" that he ate the forbidden fruit. Adam did not die until centuries later, so God's prophecy was a false prophecy.

    Jesus, it’s no wonder Prof Dawkins had a stroke. Imagine being the frontman of the atheist movement and forced to deal with this all day. It’s ironic that Richard shows more “Christian” values when he discusses ideas with people. He is a smart guy, could have just made money from books and done nothing but he is trying to educate people in the truth for almost 50 years now.

    A question I would love to ask Mr. Dawkins is this: I understand his argument that one percent of an eye is better than no eye. Sure that could evolve/improve over time. But what about sex organs? Wouldn’t a sex organ be completely dysfunctional at 1%? How could any living things have sustained their family line before their sex organs were 100% functional?

    I think you are speaking to the core of the secular/spiritual battle in the US. Plenty of Christian people are nice, humble, and even good. Many respect the fact that we do not want religion in school or the government, some even agree with the sentiment. A lot of them are genuinely good people. It's the fundamentalist die-hard's who try to impose their views and values we struggle against, imo.

    The point is that without evidence there is absolutely NO reason what-so-ever to think a particular god does exist. Do you believe there is a teapot orbiting the sun? You may as well, considering there is no evidence that it doesn't exist, right? What about leprechauns? There is no evidence they don't exist, so may as well believe in them, too. The point is that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, it really isn't complicated.
