Nice video, great test, beautiful scenery
I'm 220 pounds I just got a city pro I use max settings and the Regen paddle is progressive it works great I will be riding it today up some hills
Take it easy brother 😊
Awesome!
That's darn impressive, Tom. I love how effective the brakes are. I care more about how quick I can slowdown/stop. 👍
Haha yah stopping power is huge, especially when coming down steep grades. I remember when I went down that mountain last year for the first time, I was praying the brakes would hold up haha. It’s hard to tell how steep that thing is on video, but it’s pretty crazy.
The electronic brakes on the Apollo City Pro are excellent. Punk Rider Pro is also excellent. I'm not sure which is better but they are both among the best that's for sure 👍
Oh for sure. Having the ability to adjust the levels is huge. It’s also a great redundancy in the event you have problems with the manual brakes.
@@tomsgadgetgarage good point! do you think you can test both e-brakes out? See which one is more powerful. 2) See which one regens more battery power.
It will be interesting to see how the Max G3 compares in climbing ability as it is also 2000W. Will the two motors make a big difference, or will the lighter G3 win out???
So far which do you like better emove v2 or apollo city?
My Cruiser V2 AWD died after 50 miles. They're not good.
@MongoHongos that sucks. I was hoping this version would be better.
I took a Inmotion Climber up a 35-40% grade a couple times recently...the issue, nerves wise, is coming down, not going up 😅 "If my brakes fail I'll die even if I jump off" is too steep.
Haha! That’s right. Going down steep grades puts a lot of reliance on those brakes functioning properly lol. If I released the brake levers and just freewheeled down that thing, I could probably hit 50mph haha.
I took the InMotion Climber on the same route and thank goodness for the ability to adjust the brake strength. Solid power and electronic braking from a scooter with such a small form factor relative to other dual motor scooters.
