Great Feature and recently had one of these installed. My question is, can you customize the scene / rules when the BlueTooth disarms the panel? It disarms my panel and unlocks my backdoor which is great, but have been thinking of adding the open my garage door feature. I know I could set a rule to do this anytime the panel is disarmed, but since I could be at home and disarm the panel, I do not want the garage door to always open with that action. Just open the garage door once the BlueTooth disarm is triggered. Any thoughts or guidance?
joebrandon1977 You can create 2 different custom scenes. One is for disarming the panel, unlocking the door lock and opening the garage lifter. The other is disarming and lock or whatever you want it to be.
@@CMParks I was wondering that too. What would happen if someone smashes the keypad during the pre alarm delay before the alarm goes off? Does it just show offline at the monitoring center and then they notify owners / police ?
@@DCLEMMS1 I train my customers how to turn off the entry delay on doors that are programmed that way. If you don’t do that then the panel has a default of a 30 second delay and then the siren goes off and then it has another 30 second internal delay while the siren is going off. So the reality is that there is a one minute delay before the call even goes out to the monitoring company. You can program the internal delay to only be 15 circuits and then turn off the entry exit delays meaning that they call will then go out after 15 seconds.
how many sensors can this panel accommodate? and how far is the coverage? is the siren so very loud and is it wireless too?

Chaz Parks got it! To clarify, how would you tie the Bluetooth disarm panel to a specific custom scene?
@@joebrandon1977 that is not currently an option.
My phone says "turn on bluetooth tethering" when trying to disarm when I get close, help please ??

Can I add this as a secondary panel in my home
thewynns1 no you cannot. You would need to buy a Qolsys IQ Remote Secondary Panel to pair with this panel which is the Qolsys IQ Panel 2+.
Chaz Parks ok man thanks for that info. You know where I can start to look for the @
