- hey this video I forgot to upload a few months ago. after purchasing this helmet and using it for months I was disappointed and decided to modify my own pipeliner

Pipeliner is my go to hood
hey 30 hour, they do make a hood [ or used to] using the Fibermetal Tigerhood flip lens as the base...my complaint about the one I got, was the leather is so thick on the bottom, it is not flexible and takes a weird shape if laying about.......thanks for the review, cheers from Florida , Paul

I was going to buy exactly the one you showed in the video! So what, besides the leather work, everything else is some kind of a cheapo chinesium replica and not actual fibermetal? Can you confirm this please? Bc for this prise as you said, I expect more !
Yes there pipeliners are not fibermetal the tiger hoods they sell are legit
The pipeliner isnt a pipeliner. Bought a chopped top which was delivered today. It is a load of shite.
The pocket hood has gotten me out of some jams in the Boilermakers local 374 represent
I'll have to pick one up. I was just disappointed on the lack of quality in the shell
outlaw leather makes you buy the hardhat conversion gear separately
That's cool just wish they used real fibermetal pipeliners as the shell it would make it easier for your job to buy the right head gear

Do I just have the wrong speedyloop? My speedyloop with this hood and hardhat leave the lens way to close to the hardhat and it's hitting against my face what speedy loop should I get or is the hood just not compatible like so

Yeah, they even said the Honeywell headgear works with it, it doesn't. I'm returning mine.

There are good helmets but yea I only use it for tig I would get a pipeliner ones I Start working on stick hotter passes

Yes but tight best use 3m slimmer fitting muffs or just use plugs
all helmets should be earmuff compatible by law
