According to Kim So Hyang , her goal is to use her voice to comfort people who are going through difficult times AS FANS AND ADMIRERS WE PRAY FOR HER CONTINUED IMPROVEMENTS IN HER HEALTH and also She is a Cancer survivor And still gets sick from Time to time. But is an Amazing Artist who gave up a Kpop career to sing for the Lord and for the Love of Music instead of stardom. She learned English as a Child from Disney Movies, which inspired her to Write two of her Books...(both Published and there are more). Also And Publicly thanks Mariah Carey for teaching her everything she Knows about Music ... that is some Testament to The Power of Music
I think her best ever best performance was her ARIRANG ALONE rendition at the immortal songs concert which again she arranged it all by herself 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
Erinna, Hi again. Well, this is a kind of intimate performance sitting with just a Mike, but this lady needs nothing but silence for an accompaniment. Her background is in Gospel music, and she is a director and arranger, as well. Did you notice her hands? She is directing the music. As you watch her performances, you will begin to notice that she does that consistently. She is subconsciously directing the musicians and chorus because she usually wrote the musical arrangement. Even when she is giving everything in an intense part of a performance, she will do it. When she is singing in a duet, she does it to keep her partner in sync with her and the result is always impeccable. I find it charming, graceful, and becoming, but remarkable. There are few singers who direct the musicians while performing. Sohyang can - she truly is a genius.
