One major problem with these. You can't buy just the seals for the nozzles or the top cap. They want you to buy the repair kit for almost $11. Then you get all these other parts, when you only wanted the seals. So basically, these don't last forever. Also if you use CRC brake cleaner, it will corrode the inside. You get little black bits which clog the nozzle. Then you have to remove the nozzle to clean it. Then guess what? You can't buy the seal for the nozzle, because you wore it out removing it.
@@soldiersvejk2053 Well, I get a lot of black particles in the fluid, which sure looks like rust. It may not be rust, per se, but the inside of the sprayer is corroding. The particles from the corrosion, clogs the sprayer nozzle and then you have to take it apart to clean. PITA.
That's good to know, I assumed they were both made in china but you are correct about the sur shot. I will order a sure shot next time and maybe see how it compares to this knockoff.
good point on the aluminum version to protect against rust.

I thought CRC brake cleaners are solvent based and won’t rust?

Good video. I prefer the "SURE SHOT" which is the original design made in USA for 40 years. This one is a Chinese patent trademark infringement.

they only get red ones tho
@@OACSOME No, they have black, green, blue, red, chrome and aluminum..
@@greatlakescopwatchglcw127 ah ur right my mistake. btw that vapor shot sucks. didn’t last more than 7 months on top of buying rebuild kits for it!
Can you just fill it with air to blow sawdust off of tools?
I have not tried that yet but I will.
Not really there is nowhere near enough volume.
