Ive had this game on my list for a while, so happy to see more gameplay on it! I used to spend hours in The Movies back in the day and cant believe there isnt anything else like it these days, so I was so happy to discover this and can't wait for full release! I do hope you end up playing on full release, would love to see your movie making style through the different eras!
It feels so souless and unfinished compared to the movies. There is no sounds at all when these "sims" are doing their stuff or other backround sounds. There is no way to view the movies or have the AI make them for you. Half of the fun was seeing the weird plots and scenes the game came up with.

it's UI, build menu, and map really remind me of The Sims.

This is literally just a very marginally updated version of "The Movies". Not much in the way of improvement on a game that came out twenty years ago.
