I'd recommend the Distant Horizons mod for those who want a further render but dont have the performance
the mod developer is working on shader compatibility though so thats the only drawback

Very cool but I would recommend rethink voxels over complementary . I have played with it a bit and omg it’s so cool 10x better than any other shader imo.

But rethinking voxels runs a lot slower than complementary does. So people with a worse computer would use complementary

Pro tip, if the AVPBR file doesn't load up make your file extensions viewable then rename it with .zip at the end and it should be recognised

Pretty cool pack, but I’d recommend complementary reimagined over default complementary, due to the clouds keeping the vanilla style, yet looking really good.

It doesn't matter. Default complementary has vanilla clouds as well. You just need to toggle them in shader settings

i did everything step by step but my metallic blocks as swords don't shine, are just flat. is there any option to fix that?

Make sure you have pack.zip, that all the resource packs are in the right order, and that complementary is turned on labpbr! I hope that helps! Thanks so much for the kind words!

Command prompt wouldn't do anything for "cd desktop", and tried on "run as admin".

That will be because of the resource pack, I’m using Weed Eater which includes pbr for entities!

i tried this on forge using rubidium and oculus and it doesnt work, did the full guide step by step
EDIT: to elaborate folder i redo the entire weed eater guide using a forge installation, in same aspects it semmed like it worked for instanced my menu background is gray, my grass is gray, but there are no reflections, it might be a issue with the complementary shaders, but im not sure, im using rubidium and oculus, the shaders by themselves seem to work, but there looks like theres no pbr compatiblity at all, even when using labpbr

Hi! Sorry about that! A comment on another video found a fix: Go to pack.zip after following the tutorial and use 7zip to open archive.
Go to assets -> minecraft -> textures and delete the colormap folder
Go to assets -> minecraft -> textures -> gui -> title and delete the background folder
