In 2005 6 of us went to Alaska. Being from Florida, it never dawned on us that we should have brought our swim suits with us. Did make a round trip from Denali area to the Arctic Circle. 19 hour trip but one that will always be remembered with a smile. Great video, thanks for sharing.
That moment when I realized that it was a piano version of Unravel in the background, threw me for a loop. Really well paired with the reveal drone shot
Ian, you never fail to make Alaska look as magical in your videos as it truly is in real life. Thank you for soothing this homesick heart ❤ and keep up the great work!
I’ve been sick for the past few days and already have cabin fever, and I am so glad I checked to see if you had a new video up! Always love seeing your and Sarah’s adventures when I’m stuck inside and need a pick me up. It’s awesome to see how you can create absolutely stunning content without losing the funny little moments and personality.
I hope you are doing great man, and I hope you are glad that you keep on filming your life The beginning of this one really hit hard man Best of luck from Germany
Good to see you back Ian. 🙂 I never drove that highway but I never understood why they didn’t pave it all the way up, I guess it’s all about money and the cost to keep in maintained. Looks like you had a great time. I hope you and Sara are doing well, you look so happy. 😊 Take care.
Thank you! Glad to see your comments as always :) Yeah I think the permafrost is so bad that they just leave most of it dirt. I honestly didn't do a good job showing how rough the road is in some places. There were some pot holes so bad we had to basically come to a complete stop to pass.
Wonderful video, Ian! I'm from the lower 48, California specifically, and heavily considering transferring to UAF for next fall. I've enjoyed a lot of your videos.
I’ve never been to the Arctic Ocean. I want to visit the Arctic Ocean. My buddy and former basketball teammate Koa Agheak and my buddy and former Dimond discus thrower and current Miami Dolphins Defensive tackle Brandon Pili are from Utqiagvik originally. I want to visit Utqiagvik someday. Even though I have been in Alaska for a long time .
You should work on your video skills a bit. I don't mean to be too harsh, but this was difficult to watch due to the level of amateur voice overs, and cinematography. I'll be sticking to other channels.
