Thank you guys for putting such good content regarding Land Cruisers. I have a 1978 FJ40 and I am inspired by your video to continue working towards making it my daily driver.
Of course Proffitt's Cruisers are soooooo awesome (I want one!). But let me tell you something you may not know... Chandra and Jeremiah are two of the NICEST people you could EVER meet. I had the honor of going to a gathering at their home last year prior to the Rocky Mountain Overland Rally. Such a pleasure to get to know them both. Cheers you guys! Hope to see you both again in CO this year.
We killed the paint of the firewall of a new crawler right before the customer came to get it. Had to remove the engine to repaint. I wish I knew back then!
Unfortunately it's not for sale. We build all of our Land Cruisers for clients. The tan one was purchased by its owner about 30 years ago when he was in high school and we just brought it back to life for him! We do have a great system to estimate projects for our clients. If you have or want a Land Cruiser, we can help and estimate a project just for you. Just contact the shop!
The "other guy" has already "sold his soul" with LS swaps. If It was me I would want to set myself apart by doing whatever it takes to keep it Toyota. Toyota makes the best engines ever made, why on earth would you LS swap? I would go around and buy up all of the 2007 Turndra's I could find and rebuild the Force engine and put them in. Take the ECU and harness adapt it and you are good to go!
Yeah I am with you on that All of these LS swaps are just not kosher. If your going to do the V8 Swap stick with the Tundra or even Tacoma 6 fuel injection But for me hell nah I ll stay with the straight SIX 2F all day long

Awesome restorations. Makes these vehicles more sought after.
I think so too, Thanks!

Thank you Robert for the Kind words! It was a pleasure to have you all as guest.
Excellent presentation , top notch work on trucks, and beautiful lady.
I continue to be impressed with the quality of your work on these 40s. One day, I'll have you work on mine.
Thanks, We'd be happy to!
Really loved both of these!
Thanks! They are some of my favorites too!
Interesting info on dot 5 fluid. I’m sure you’ve seen hundreds of old ones with paint gone down the firewall. Also neat patina creation.

You guys rock! Love the crawler !
Can you give more detail about how you extend the rear axle?
Love the video. Driving a ‘74 an original soft top, tailgate model.
OEM soft tops are my favorite. 74 is the second to the last year. Good on ya!
Love your jobs
I would love to be able to restore my HJ47 ute one day but for now it’s my daily driver workhorse
Could you please make a video showing a fj40 with your extended wheelbase driving on/offroad?
Thanks,
Do you guys sell the roof rack separately?
What is the lift and tire size on the tan fj40?

Is it available?
