Jello/Gelatin Aquarium Cups - with yoyomax12

- These edible aquariums would be perfect for an "under the sea" themed party.
4 cups white cranberry or white grape juice
3 envelopes unflavoured gelatin
Gummy fish
Fruit cocktail
Cucumber peel
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 1 cup of the juice.
Allow to sit for 2 minutes.
Bring remaining 3 cups of juice to a boil over in a medium sized saucepan. Add in the gelatin/juice mixture and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Allow to cool to room temperature and stir in blue food colour to achieve desired shade.
Place a tablespoon of chopped up fruit cocktail into the bottom of 4-8oz clear cups or glasses.
You can leave this out if you want just "water" and fish,
Fill cups to about 3/4 full with the juice/gelatin mixture. Save about 1/4 cup of the liquid and set it aside. This will be used to smooth off the tops after inserting fish.
Place cups in the refrigerator and allow to partially set.
Use a knife or skewer to make a hole in the jello, insert the gummy fish or cucumber peel "seaweed".
Spoon some of the reserved liquid over the tops of the cups after inserting the fish to smooth it out.
Allow to set completely.

I've seen a couple other jelly aquarium videos and this one is the best and most inventive. The fruit cocktail gravel and cucumber peel seaweed are genius :)

the rough surface after you just added the gummies kinda looks like actual seas! it looks really similar to the choppy waters I've seen while riding the ferry
wouldn't it be easier to just pour the jello in layers and put the fish in different layers after each one set?
What if I wanna add booze? I was going to follow Tipsy Bartenders version but that's too much alcohol for me, so I was going to substitute it with less alcohol but wasn't sure about the gelatin. Also, I want them to be out of their glasses like Tipsy did.

You could also use a pair of chopsticks to put the gummy fish in the jello and adjust its position, though I think it might leave marks in the jello.

the jello /gelatin aquarium treat are yummy and I wish I make ate home one problem can not find every unfavorable gelatin at me location super market haven't to find retain stores like Patmark and Stop and Shops and Targets and Walmart and Kmart, Shops Ride.
