Today we're taking a look at the E-280 integrated amplifier from Accuphase. This is the entry point into the integrated range but still provides a lot of power, beautiful sound and outstanding build quality. We highly recommend these as a base to any audio system.

Why does the input selector knob wiggle? You can see it easily 40 seconds into the video.

I would be interested if it doubled its wattage output into 4 Ohms.
Rated output at 4 ohms is 120 watts, but one thing you should know about Accuphase is that they are modest with their power ratings so they put their 'worst' case scenario number on the spec sheet. So in reality its more like a 180watts at 4 ohms. (estimate based on experience)
How does this compare in sound quality to the E-380 and E-480?
The 480 has more power so is more suitable for larger speakers, but the 380 has something magical about it. A sort of ‘musicality’ that’s hard to put your finger on.
