The only reason I would pick Denon is because they sound better, and they would have a better dealer network, and availability. Having had issues with high-cost brands in comparison to more mainstream brands, I tend to go with the mainstream. That, and the fact that every time my high-cost amp went 'Pop', I defaulted to my Yamaha ... that in the end I just stuck with my Yamaha, and have done for over 11 problem free years, instead of wasting time and money on poorly built exotica.
I'm going to help you friend Max transformer 200 watt per each. max load into 4 Ohms per channel 160 Watt I = √P/4) = √160/4 = √40 = 6.3A per transformer P = power I = Current secondary transformer after rectifier.
@@JNElectrics Thank you for the answer, sir, he has a two-level power supply, 61v and 16 v come to the amplifier, I wonder what current is on the 16v supply, it turns out that the full power of the transformer P= (v) x (i)=61v x 6.3A=383VA
@@JNElectrics thank you very much; I am seeking a one box solution and the MF does not have a built in phono stage. By all accounts the X-5 is let down by its phono stage. So this leaves the r1000 though it is down on power.

@@audiolover You're talking about equipment that's nearly 20 years old, but I'm talking about what's available today. The A110 is very good, it has a dual power supply, a very high level DAC (on this point the old ones are totally out of date) and a much more advanced volume control system.
@@dab9742 SX-11 and SX-1 Limited are actual models where Limited cost almost 3 times more than PMA-A110. Even PMA-S1 from 1993 will be better than funky A110. Amplifier should be amplifier not a Dac. Newer doesn't mean better, like cars.. 🤷
Thanks for this comparison. Very informative
thank you for visiting

Super
Accuphase= the lexus of Kenwood.
i think it is almost the same price and output power
Je possède le denon PMA 2500ne
What current does denon have after the rectifier on the secondary of the transformer is not written in the service manual

Would it be possible for you to test the Michi X-5 Integrated Series 2 plus a comparison with the Musical Fidelity 8Xi and the Technics SU-R1000?
later I'm going to to

ok
Denon seems to be the better quality!
The A110 is Denon's top-of-the-range model, while the E280 is Accuphase's entry-level model. 😉
Denon top of the line is PMA-SA1 (11) and SX-1 (11) Limited
