Man! Your videos are a musical safety blanket for me. I love how you break stuff down. You are among a few good musicians, not just a drummer, but also a great teacher. Funny thing is that there are alot of great drummers who are, i'll just say it, terrible teachers. But you are a reason why I had to rethink my whole view and way to play the drums as well as becoming a better musician. Thank you.
Hmmmmm Aaron bass cover hmmmm idk the track…hmmmm am I crazy?
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊@@quadplyr13😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Metric modulation, ladies and gentlemen. A truly powerful tool for a drummer to have. The band doesn't appreciate it tho, it throws them off massively and they're stunned as to how you still landed on the one😂
Yeah man. It’s a wonderful thing. Lol
I swear ❤️‼️ currently studying it
I just learned this word and what it means today and I’ve been playing drums for 10 yeare
Stfu no one care
It`s just paradidledidle
One pro to another.. you have a ton to offer so many drummers.. Good Job.
Thanks so much man. That means a lot! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
God has answered my prayers I was literally watching this short in slow mo trying to learn them fills lol thank you bro! Fr you really help us average church drummers become better! God is using you!
Man thanks for watching! This is an encouraging comment 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Never thought we could do this with paradiddles… truly powerful. 🙏
Never heard of Gospel Chops until today. Wow. Love it.
Wow really? Well glad I could help you learn something new!
I absolutely loved how you took your time to explain it and broke it down in multiple different ways! Plus having the metronome in the background with the accent and 16th note triplet clicks really helped.
Thanks for the great feedback! I’ll try to keep the subdivisions in the metronome when I do lessons!
Fills like this always melted my brain. Feeling slightly less melted after watching this
Best teacher found so far!!!

One of my favorite, chops and the style I play its always confusing to the guys I play with. But I swear I'm doing it right and I land on one.
What style of music is it?
@@carlinmuccular Konpa music , it's from Haiti
So cool big bruh….its really clean and clear to understand preciate
Awesome thanks for watching!
So well explained, fantasic 😊
Thanks!
Love this, I subscribed 🔥
Thanks for the sub!
very well explained
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely fantastic 👏 my first time watching/listening to this fabulous drummer and some things just fell into place,,, amazing 👏
Awesome!
I definitely love the tuning of snare bro🥁
Thanks! Appreciated!
That's clean!!
Thanks!
That's pretty awesome. I've been using paradiddles on triplet grid for a while, but I've always shifted the accents, keeping the accent on the first note is a whole new game because in effect you are modulating, I believe.
Didn't take me too long to crack it, now get it up to speed.
Thanks very much, I've been also working on those 5note groupings, 4 on the top + 1 kick , which is also pretty cool. 👊
Rock on! Thanks for watching man.
Of course, just substitution of a parradiddle into the chop. Hell yes.
I see what you doing big bro 🔥😏👍🏾 2:49 in its essence we’re taking the Paradiddle and phrasing them as sextuplets the slower tempo gives the exercise that cherry on top with the metric modulation. 🥁🥁🥁
💯
That’s it man! 💪🏽
Wow, great time bending at the end!
Thanks!
waoh!
thanks bro for this new perspective
Glad you liked it!
Wowww thanks so much bro, God bless you
You got it!
Thanks for the lesson 🙏
You’re welcome!
Your teaching is very good! You could bring more of this content on your channel... I'm from Brazil, nice to meet you🇧🇷🤍
More to come! Thanks!
Killer lesson man cheers! Could you break down the types of cymbals being used? I'm diving into the Sabian brand and absolutely enamored by the incredible sound these produce!
Sure. My front crash is a 18” Sabian HH thin crash. My ride is a 21” HHX Fierce ride. To the right of my ride is a 18” HHX X-treme crash. Over my hi hat is a 10” HHX Evolution splash on top of a AAX Aero splash. Above my 10” tom is a 10” AAX Air Splash. Above my 12” tom is a 12” mini holy China on top of a 12” aero splash. Above my floor tom is a 13” XSR fast Stax top on top of a 12” mini holy China (I think)
Wow, this video is absolutely fantastic! The content is so engaging and informative, and the production quality is top-notch. I'm seriously impressed by the effort and creativity that went into making this. Kudos to the entire team involved! You've really raised the bar with this one. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. Keep up the incredible work! 💯👏
Thanks Kingsley!
For this chop to work for me I had to master the halftime/Rosanna shuffle similar to John Piccarro or Purdie.
Yessir. That’s a really good reference.
Nice stuff I myself been playing these types of over the bar chops for years probably when I didn’t even realize what it was I definitely relate to this and it was an excellent presentation of it 6/4 and 6/8 groove when u went up on the bell
Dope!
Thanks for watching. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

New follower 👌👌👋
Cool bro
Thanks!
The best!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for actually showing how to truly learn this. Not, lemme play this at moderate bpm, ONCE, then super fast the 2nd Time- I gotta rewind sh** like hundreds of times
😂😂 you got it man. Thanks for watching
great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tuff🔥
🔥🔥🔥 Nice!
was wondering what is the sticking for 0:36 because you delivered backbeats with Left hand on 2nd and 4th count,- it sounds very very amazing! if we can do this and still keep time for the band i would do it everyday!
but if i follow the original single paradiddle sticking , my Right hand would be needed to play the 4th count.
so then i tried adding an additional Left hand on the 4th count but
I loved that😊
Thanks!
Awesome 👏
Thanks!
nice drum drum
Thanks!
Wow
Thanks for watching
@@carlinmuccular how can I. Contact you please

Thanks a lot Carlin, especially for considering the math side.😅 It's really helpful.
You got it! Thanks for watching!
Amazing! May I capture this and convert it into the 3D animation scene? 😊
Hello can you please breakdown the starting groove in Daniel Bernard's series of gospel fill #8
I haven’t seen that video sorry
Thanks bro and could you create a video to show us how we can make a track click
Sorry man. That’s not really down my lane on TH-cam at the moment but I’m sure if you type that in on TH-cam you can find something!
Great Carlin, congratulations on the work what is this technique called? It's not a triplet, is it?
Thanks for watching!
Yes, the phrasing is actually a 16th note triplet...or sextuplet... depending on how you look at it!
Use volume to on mic to control the metronome noise
Seems To be good for solo
Love this.
God bless you 🙏
Thanks!
Dope
