The CRKT CEO is best described as a corporate EDC that an executive might carry. It has an extremely low profile and is lightweight. It was designed to be mistaken as a pen in the front pocket.
The designer is Richard Rogers from Magdalena, New Mexico.
    Specifications:
    Blade Length: 3.11"
    Closed Length: 4.45"
    Overall Length: 7.63"
    Weight: 2.10 oz. (59.53 g)
    Blade Edge: Plain
    Blade Finish: Satin
    Blade Thickness: 0.09" (2.18 mm)
    Blade Steel: 8Cr13MoV
    Handle: Glass-Reinforced Nylon
    Lock: Liner Lock
Pivot System: Recessed thumb stud with IKBS™ ball bearings
8Cr13MoV is a low-end Chinese-Made Stainless Steel similar to the Japanese AUS 8, It belongs to the CR13 series, high in Carbon and Chromium.
8Cr13MoV steels have excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, edge retention, and high hardness. Due to its lower cost, it is also favoured for budget knives.

I've had mine since 2021. Fantastic knife. It's the one with the carbon fiber looking handle. I use it as a mail/package opener as well as some light edc tasks. It's held up well despite abuse. I've only had ro sharpen it maybe 3 or 4 times...it takes a wicked edge despite the budget steel.

Mine wouldn’t deploy from the gitgo. I immediately returned it. I bought the Samior Gentleman’s EDC. The fit and finish were very good. The blade was sharp right out of the box. More important, it opened smooth as silk. Great action. It’s definitely a keeper. Cheers!

It's not a sturdy built knife. I had the CEO Bamboo model. When it arrived it was dull, and I didn't realize the screw through the blade was lose and when I put pressure on the blade the pin that stop the blade came out of the hole on the side and allowed the blade to fold over backwards. I've had $5 chinese knives made better.

Cool video, I remember reviewing the UK Legal version - it makes for a good overall office knife 👌

This knife sits on my desk as a letter opener. The best one I've ever had. And though I fear cutting my thumb when deploying it, I've yet to cut myself!

I have same problem. Try and try to no avail. This was a loss of money. No longer have packaging and have had it for a long while and although never used or carried, can’t send it back.

Impossible to deploy one-handed unless you find the exact, correct angle and have the right grip on the knife. Otherwise, like me, you will have a painful thumb and thumb stud that is jammed. The CEO is effectively useless, you are better off with any small slip joint pocket knife.
