- Hello, students ;D Today I'd like to tell you and demonstrate to you a simple way of making cool hypnotic paintings with the help of glue and paint mixture called Decalcomania. I hope it will be interesting and relaxing for you to watch. Enjoy! :) ♥ thank you for your time.
Directory:
0-02:19- intro and supplies needed
02:19-08:02- demonstrating the samples I've prepared for you. the one at 04:30 is my favorite :*)
08:04-14:50- applying glue paint to the file
14:54-18:30- squeezing the glue to make shapes and transferring it to the paper
20:30-end- tracing the outlines with the sharpie and whispering:)
from here I was really zoning out as I was super into the outlining :P so pardon me being so spaced out.

Nailpolish: NYC "Park Ave." plus dots with a white polish marker, in the second half of the video I applied matte top coat to lower the extreme shine of my nails :P
Sweater: Burlington Coat Factory, hours of looking through clothes helped me find this one :)

Wow, I didn't know these kind of videos were available on TH-cam. I went to a library last week. The librarian was looking for the ticket for my book and the noise of all the cardboard tickets whilst she was flicking through them was so amazing. I thought I was the only person who felt like that. Now I know I'm not alone. Sleepy time for me!!!

Lol! Thank you. I take sleeping tablets as I have always had problems sleeping. I can go days without sleep, which makes me really sick. This is amazing as I can even sleep in the day just listening to a video.

***** My daughter has made probably 40 of these pieces herself, and one other type of paint we found works pretty well is acrylics - cheap, non-toxic, a variety of finishes, washable, don't have to mix with anything (I had some trouble finding the small glue bottles so tried other paints), they have super intense colors and come in pretty much every shade you can imagine. Thought I'd let you know if you wanted to try them in your own decalcomania pieces. :)

Weird lol funny how different everyone is from each other huh? I thought one looked like space or rocks and then a couple animal shapes. Never once did I see a vagina lol.

Must comment before completely incapable of forming sentences. I can *feel* your concentration when putting down the colours and that's a huge trigger for me, to feel someone looking. Your up close whispering is the best arrrg. I always love the little details and I feel like all your colours were planned out, your shirt, nails and the backdrop, the paper on the table all matches to create this rich earthy colour palette and your hair and lipstick are like a pale flower in the middle... Ok I sound creepy lol Hmm is this why there is so much green tone? To make us calm and to keep us from getting fat? *eats fudge*

Oh Maria pleeeeeeease do more videos where you make art or crafts of various kinds! This is one of my favorite videos of yours of all time and I just can't tell you how wonderful it really is!! The sounds of the paper and your whispering are perfection. Maybe something with colored pencils, markers, or crayons? Or beads, too! Have you ever done those little projects where you color a picture with wax crayons and place wax paper over it from the kitchen then melt it with a clothes iron? Or those little plastic beads that you melt with a clothes iron? More art projects from you would be the best present ever! And I hope you enjoy making them, too. :)

I'd LOVE to work with him one day. We've been friends for a while now and I have to say he has been an incredible healer for me. :) We Skype from time to time and he always does a little reiki session on me over Skype. Let's just say I would pay money for that haha cos the tingles are crazy if you can imagine :D, but I am fly like that and get it as a gift for free :P lol.. but seriously he is as caring and as compassionate as you see him.

1.The jewelry is awesome, especially the thin bands on the right hand.
2. The nails are great also; I like the fine silver/white detailing on the edges. I was a little worried you might get paint on them or the bottom of the shirt sleeves.
3. The hair looks like something out of a Wen infomercial.
4. Very clever art project; tie dying for paper.
5. Above all, you never lose sight of the fact that these are ASMR videos. I love that your postings always work for me.

What's the point of the glue? I always just use paint, directly on paper, fold it, open it = awesomeness.

Last week I experienced a traumatic event. I watched as my brother got engulfed in a grease fire. He now has 3rd degree burns on 45% of his body. He is having minor problems recovering at a super-hospital hours away from where I live. (We live together.)
The past couple days, I haven't been able to stop trembling and have been losing my appetite.
But your videos have helped me so much. I can sleep and eat again, believe it or not. Thank you, thank you so much. With your videos, my fears and worries just melt away.

Hi Maria. I've been watching your videos for about a year now. The day you published this, I had just learned that I had lost my second brother to a drug overdose. The first was in 2007. This video helped calm my mind a bit for a restless night. Thank you for the beautiful work that you do. You made it a bit more tolerable when I needed peace.
I heard ASMR, is good for sleep, Is this true? I'm wondering because I suffer from PTSD from Afghanistan and Insomnia a side affect from the PTSD.

Don Kahn I personally like the ones that are just noises so I don't have to concentrate on what they're saying. (like head scratching, ear cleaning, etc.) But ASMR is very personal, you have to find what you like best! Good luck.
I suffer from PTSD as well! And insomnia does come through a lot so I watch ASMR videos to set my worries aside. You should watch affirmations if you need someone to tell you that you'll be ok, but I find any video soothes me I'm not that picky :")
