- Hello, beautiful faces :) how have you been? Tonight I will tell you a bit about a deep skin analysis called Face Mapping, then I'll gently touch your face as I tell you about what each area represent. 5+ years later and I still regularly return to this video to hear Maria say at 4:35: "Please don't ever worry about anything. It's all about the confidence and the peace and happiness within yourself. Everything else is not even a big deal at all."

Maybe a random thing to pick up on, but I really like how Maria always says that she's going to come closer to you before she actually does. In a video it's always fine, of course, but it can be extremely helpful for therapists/doctors/whoever to do this in real life and they so often don't. Thank you for being so respectful of us even as you're helping us and being so tender and gentle Maria :)

This may be weird, and hard to explain :) but one of the reason's Maria is my favourite ASMRtist is because she knows exactly where to put her hands. For example, if she she says she's going to examine your eyes, her hands are where your eyes would be, same with nose, mouth etc. I've watched other video's from other artists and it just ruins it when they say "i'm going to check your eyes" and start stroking where your mouth would be. Maria has it on point :)

Revisiting this wonderful video. Around seven years ago this was the first ASMR I'd ever experienced. All these years later I'm still hooked on Maria's voice and gentleness.

My boyfriend works very long days at an extremely physically/mentally exhausting job. He owns his own business and when he gets home sometimes his mind is so full of thoughts he takes forever to go to sleep. I've told him about ASMR and Maria before but he never fully understood what I meant. The day this video came out I was listening to it before I went to bed as I realized my boyfriend was having difficulty shutting his mind off. I asked if he wanted to listen to Maria talk to him a little bit and he said sure. We laid there next to eachother sharing the headphones and within MINUTES he was snoring away. Thanks, Maria!

What's interesting is that all of my problematic areas on the face chart correspond with my illness Crohn's Disease. I have spots on my face on the areas small intestines, stomach and large intestines, and those are the areas my illness affects. what do you know!

MARIA.... I have so much trouble sleeping at night... but since I discovered ASMR and specifically your page I have had much better sleep patterns and find relaxing before bed so much easier thanks to the videos you do... Keep them coming.

I know it's meant for entertainment more than actual information, but I'd never seen face mapping before. And I find it kind of interesting that the places I get breakouts (chin and sides of forehead) are bladder and hormones, which are the two biggest health issues I have (chronic UTI and PCOS/hormonal imbalances).
Out of all of Maria’s AMAZING videos, this one is my go-to when I’m ready to actually fall asleep. Knocks me out in about five minutes every time! 😴💜

maria, every time I see a new video of yours something inside me that feels like hope and happiness comes to the surface. lately, my mother and i have been having trouble getting along because she thinks im lazy when she won't even try to understand the symptoms of depression, which she knows i have. she says i use it as an excuse not to do any work, when in reality im just sad and lonely and afraid of the world. she treats me like her servant; I have to clean up after her, do her dishes and blames me when the kitchen is messy (when she's the one who created the mess in the first place). i don't have a job anymore and now she's charging me $200 a month if i don't do everything she says. she criticizes how i look and always asks me why i don't go to the gym (even though she's overweight and im not). she won't pay for my therapy anymore and is about to stop paying for my medications. she believes therapy is bullshit because they teach me how to stand up for myself against her. I've grown to resent her so much.
anyway, i just wanted to tell you that despite this stress you are a beacon of light for me in a seemingly endless dark time. sorry for the essay and thank you ♥

This video is so classically Maria. All her mannerisms, her way of speaking, her tone. But especially her little cute quirks. Her cheeky laugh, the way she sniffles, even the slight mispronuncation of words as she was learning the intricacies of English. All the most soothing, most comforting and most endearing. I have watched this video 50 times, at minimum. I still have no clue how it ends. But I love watching the first five minutes just because it's so damn comforting. Maria really is the Queen of ASMR. Long may she reign!
