As fellow 4th year medical students, we definitely understand the importance of prioritizing life outside of school to stay happy and healthy!

Love this! Another one I would like to add is that all med students are cut throat and competitive. This was not my experience, in fact I met so many of my friends, yes even ya boy Jacob, because we were all willing to help with other whether it be studying together, or chilling on our down times, or seeing each other on rotations. There is definitely room to succeed, while still make friends and creating a support systems amongst your cohort.

Love this! I’m a post-bacc pre-med student who has AWFUL imposter syndrome! My degree is in creative media, the hobby I love, but my passion has always been medicine! I’m having a hard time convincing myself that my communications major can get me into medical school, and/or that I’m smart enough to even get in! Thanks for the video!

I’m a nurse and premed. I met my husband when he was in medical school (I was in the military) and he’s now in fellowship. I totally agree with all of this, especially the “not all doctors are rich” part! 😂 I make more money per hour than he does.
