Question: In the video and online some look more yellow than amber, I’m after more of the amber/orange color than a yellow color. How do they look in person?
so if you leave the inside ones stock you need to get out and take the covers off everytime you plan on using the inside fog lights? or generally just leave them off?
@@gearzgadgets5872 that part number on Rigid's site shows to be "yellow". Would this be the reason they are more yellow than amber? The Amber shows to be part#301993... Curious because I would like to order some, but I would prefer them be more amber.
There’s a reason they come with covers but I can’t remember, I think it was a legal thing. I was starting to think they were just blanks lol only had my truck for a day
This part number is actually yellow. The Rigid Amber part number is 301993, which is an actual amber color. Also on back order from Rigid. Just FYI.

These covers are technically yellow, which is all that rigid made at the time. Since then, they have introduced amber ones as well.

Can you leave the lights on with the orange covers on? Or will it melt the plastic?
The factory fog lights are LED so they shouldn't get very warm. I have not had any trouble leaving them on for hours.

They are a bit more yellow than amber, so they don't match great. Hopefully, new videos coming soon!

@@wlanceg yes that would be the reason. They just came out with the amber ones recently. Only had the yellow back when I got them

I returned my car to the dealership last day I thought both of the fog lights can be switched on from the AUX switches 🤣
Lol 2 from aux 1 and the other 2 from the button in the middle of the headlight switch!
