Thanks for the evening upload gents, Valentines viewing!! I find myself backing most of Jake's selections so like his book most, but all are looking very good. Keep up the great work, gentlemen.
Really liked the tips this week apart from Hitman. I’ve passed them onto my mates pretending I came up with them myself and they think I’m brilliant, very easy!
Always enjoy the show lads. Massively rate Jake as a judge, and I may be bias having put up ginnys destiny also (before this show) but I don’t feel facile vega being way too keen is addressed. We’ve seen it with edwardstone, a keen going 2 miler does not make for a good 2.5 miler, despite the pedigree suggesting facile vega would be. GD has 160+ form in the book, loves the track and should be close to banker territory if fact to file swerves it no?
@@JakePriceRacingthe obvious example is the DRF last season where he was way too keen and free vs high definition. The RP novice loss to found a fifty Patrick is taking a pull on him for most of the first mile too. Admittedly he settled better at this years DRF but feel it’s a fair assessment he is keen in races pal. Again massively rate you as a judge and is a game of opinions, always enjoy seeing yours!
@@TipsterinasuitI wouldn't be worried about what he did at the last DRF to be honest, that race was a complete right off and his subsequent exploits show that. That race at Christmas was certainly not his nor Patrick's finest moment, but I don't really think he was that keen. In my opinion he is a strong traveller running over a trip too short - if you got him over further he'd be able to travel into his races strongly for a lot longer, which I can only think would help him. At the end of the day I'm looking at an angle for him finding further improvement, rather than just keeping on doing the same thing by running in an Arkle.
@@JakePriceRacingyeah I see where your coming from, and there is no doubt about his ability for sure, but his want to jump to the front in that race would have me worried about him starting the race even slower over further, but only time will tell! 100% get where your coming from and it would be ludicrous for him to go to an arkle at this stage. Like I said bred to go further too, isn’t a bad bet and appreciate your insight, best of luck with it (but not too much as I want Ginny’s destiny to come through 😂)
GDC was 2.6 on the machine 2 weeks before the festival in 2022, I don't think either Ballyburn or Fact To File sagas are over just yet. Yes I am on for the Bingham and Turners, why do you ask
Ahoy Senor disgracefully dismissed in the Ryanair chat at the end there! Ran well at Cheltenham already this season hammered by the stirrup mishap. Goes off the front and makes all IMO* * might not run it in but if he did he’d have won it.
agreed he is the type of horse to pop up and win at 16/1 and we will all say should of backed him ive backed him last 4 5 times coz i know gonna come in one day hoping at the 16s 😅
Really like the puzzle of solving handicaps at the festival , but question to the lads , how can trainers get away with running horses not on their merit on every occasion just to gain a plot HCP mark ripe for the festival , bit naughty of me to say but I will say Langar Dan
@@TheJumpsShow yeah I know , but some trainers are questioned on their horses performance , some are not , is it a level playing field ?? I understand if a trainer runs a horse on unsuitable ground liking to gain a lowered mark , but some horses are running on their prime required distance and ground conditions on more than one occasion but still do a impression of a stuffed 🐖 pig
I’m absolutely astounded how you could tip Hitman in the Ryanair, no hate lads but he is a handicapper against at least two 160 horses. He is possibly one of the weakest finishers I’ve ever seen since I started loving the sport. I wouldn’t have Hitman finishing the race let alone winning it. Protektorat however is a completely different story, he is a very good horse who jumps a fence beautifully and is probably a bit too keen for 3 miles at this level so you drop him back to 2 and a half miles in a very open Ryanair let him out front jumping the fences and putting everything else under pressure then 33/1 with bet365 especially for each way betters is an unbelievable price I can’t see him not hitting the first 3.
Backed American Mike at da weekend , agree with the Jakester about the national hunt chase as a good plan , I reckon when Gordon finally works him out , he'll be the next Tiger roll ..
Worst part of the Hitman bet/tip is the price, he just went off 9-1 in a 5 runner race containing Does he know and Sam Brown, The Ryanair will have at least 8 horses in the 160's and around 10 horses with better ratings. And then you consider his dogging. Much bigger prices will be available on this horse unless multiple defections. Of all the horses you could tip up, this is a bottom dwellar.
Think they normally put up very solid selections on here, just look at there review of selections! However I’d agree, I feel hitman was flattered in the ryanair last year and is at best a handicapper in this grade 1 race
@@Tipsterinasuit Yeah - respect to anyone who has a go and these lads are sound thinkers on the whole, I'm sure they can cope with a bit of constructive feedback though.
Comment down below with who has the BEST Ante-Post book so far! ⬇️

Cheers Lee!
Great work, lads. I am a massive Facile Vega fan so have backed both races at big prices, but agree I would love to see him in the Turners now.

Dan's face when Tom was talking about Hitman 😆
Priceless! 😂

When has he been too keen?🤔

Whilst I really like the 3 lad's I liked jakes book
When is your Cheltenham preview night guys?

Haha, yep nothing would surprise that's for sure!
County hurdle , First Street , has been campaigned very wisely and with no essence of the um de dergies if you know what I mean , 😮

Still no Ahoy Senor!?
What have you backed him for, Jay?🤔

Unfortunately he's not entered, and you can't supplement for the NH Chase 🙁
@@TheJumpsShow yeah I know , controversial comment but Gordon is puzzling , Irish point a prime example many would question
