in all honesty, after the calzaghe fight he was never the same fighter, before that he was incredible, snap and accuracy in his punches, great movement but after calzaghe it wasnt the same, still a fantastic champion and role model, the super middelweight division has lost a true champion and gentleman
he was not a changed fighter after Calzaghe imo... lokk at him Against Andrade, Bayer...i think it is just Wear and tear,he have had alot off fights,and long lay offs during injurys, but yes 10 years ago he was really good!!!
With all due respect I like Andre Ward but he was definitely headbutting with intent that fight I wish it would have went the full 12 rounds. Mikkel should have headbutted him back.
Froch may complain but Kessler won the first fight I think, Calzaghe, Kessler and Froch have a great series of fights between them. Sir Joe would have beaten Froch of course

I agree. Froch had way too much successin their first fight. Froch is almost always outboxed. It's just that Froch knocks people out late.
I think it was after the Ward fight, getting hit in the eyes five times by someone’s cranium will do that to a fighter.
