I remember Petersons 4Wheel magazine covering this event when I was a kid. Pretty sure that blue Bronc and maroon K5 have been running Gravelrama for 20 years
Flying over the top typically ends with damage. The backside isn't as steep, but is still a significant slope. Attempts are timed differently. Once from bottom to midpoint. Second from near midpoint to nearer the top. Times are combined to determine finishing position. It's made entirely of pea gravel. It takes an entirely different technique than sand to conquer.

Must be a sharp peak the way they all let off at the top of the run.

@@douggregoryHOTMotorsports thanks, this is new to me. Just watching the course safety crew trying to stand or walk tells a lot about that hill.
Wow, a 50 metre hill. 🇳🇿🤔
It's super easy. You should go and win it all.
@doug gregory, lol, nuff said.
Drive that cunt in me commy Ute 🤣🤣🤣🇦🇺👍👍
The hill was 10' smaller by the end of the video.
Now I think I will go and watch some paint dry............Ho Hum.........
WTF happened to the rest of the hill???
It's small. Really. Nothing to it. I can almost run up it faster.
Sorry but what's the point in it
Its a pee gravel drag its really short though they need a bigger pile lol😂
The Arabs would be extremely disappointed
Yeah. Exactly. Bottomless pea gravel doesn't require near as much skill as sand from a rolling start.

Hmmmm
Yawn zzzzzzzz frrrp
