What a remarkably talented group of young musicians, led by an exceptional conductor. It's clear that Järvi meticulously rehearsed this orchestra, instilling them with tremendous confidence and trust for this performance. All he had to do was infuse it with electrifying energy. A fresh take on a classic, but done tastefully and unapologetically. What a truly stunning performance. Bravi tutti!
did anyone notice the fact that they played this a bit faster than normal?
a bit lol
Yes, but at this tempo it sounds more Spanish and less Russian .
@@waverly2468 you are so wrong. This sounds nothing like Spanish folk music. It just sounds like German panzers invading Poland all over again. The conductor is absolutely deluted. It looks like he has a narcissistic problem.
the clarinet solos go crazyy
Magnificent for a “youth orchestra.”
Giddy - Up !!!! 💃🏽 💨 💨 💨
Dude was giving the triangle some tremolo and I'm impressed with his dedication.
brava orchestra ottima esecuzione brillante il maestro
Divertida version! excelente!
Todo un torero el director de orquesta!! Bravo!
No it's not. It's horrific. The tempos are wrong and insane. And he's disgusting to look at.
@@organboi can't imagine what disgusts you about kristjan ... his playful style fits his exuberant musicians perfectly
@@organboi good thing there’s hundreds of recordings of this piece so you don’t have to waste your time complaining about this one :)
This is played at a furious pace.
Very nice
It's terrible. The tempo is WRONG. Not what the composer wants.
@@organboi calm the fuck down
If you want furious just watch the Fast and the Furious saga. It is about as close to Korsakov's music as this trash rendition of the piece.
Marvellous evocative piece by Rimsky-Korsakov despite him never setting foot in Spain 🇪🇸 the last movement together, with Ravel’s Bolero, helped Torvil And Dean to ice dancing Olympic gold in 1984.
Love the conductor's energy and expressiveness. Nice fast tempo as well!
Conductor's body language: beats Leonard Bernstein.
Ma cos'è, una corsa?
This is an absolutely wonderful performance of this piece. These youngsters are extremely talented and have a great musical future ahead of them.
Too fast, methinks. Still a nice performance, but the soloists are missing some of their notes
Why are so orchestras going too fast, while others go slowly in a stately way, in this piece?
Because the conductor is a moron. That's why.
second movement is waaaaay too fast
Tempo was too fast, especially at the beginning!
Trochę za szybkie tempo
horrible, just horrible
Yep. Insane idiot conductor who knows less than nothing. Awful tempos. The composer would be appalled.
