This is probably one of the best brutalism poster design tutorials on TH-cam. I like that you break things up into steps and explain each step thoroughly. I already have made my fair share of these posters but this tutorial was still very useful. You deserve a lot more subs tbh. PSA would really love a displacement video from you
The Butterflies are a nice touch but i think if they were smaller and flying in different directions. Once you put the textures on the poster they kinda flattened the butterflies so they wont contrast too much from the rest of the design.
Hi! Im pretty new at photoshop and I cannot figure out how you did the first masking of the rectangle.. Im truly stuck and have been trying to find other ways to continue but it just wont go my way.. Is there a chance for you to maybe make a more in-depth tutorial of this poster? Love the poster tho!!! incredible work!!
@@anneqqqat the bottom left of the toolbar there is a tool called the rectangle tool simply drag out the size of your rectangle click fill and select the white icon with the red slash to make it clear set the stroke to whatever color you want (in this case white) and set the pixel size to your liking
Genuinely amazing video, love that you have so many assets available for free. I'd already been following your work on Instagram for a while, hut you just gained a new subscriber!
Hope you guys found this one valuable! 🙏 This is only my second video so I'm still getting the hang of long form content, so any feedback is more than welcome! Love you guys, George
I also love Tyler, the creator's Music and this poster is Amazing!! I actually like it with both the Butterflies and without. Yes!!! please make a video on displacement map 🙏 Thanks for sharing!!!
Amazing video! Thing is I'm following every single step but can't get the same result with the same image and noise + Threshold effect, something is missing.
@@WaveIndex_ I tried a lot of stuff the other day and there was no way, but I could get a similar effect adding Black and White filter + Noise + Levels to the basic image. Finally today I could make it work as you explained. Don't know why you have the result already after applying the noise effect, but wasn't my case until I turned into a smart object, which I'm sure I did the other day... Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it. Have a nice day!
hi! love this tut so much! :) unfortunately, i got a little stuck trying to make the blue coloring with a brush work. could you explain how you did that please? when i did it, it just came out as gray strokes of paint 😭
Hello great tutorial. I am finding difficulty while adding that first grid. While adding stroke it is not changing the color. I don't know what's wrong.
TYSM for this tutorial!!!!! I wanted to print my posters but I'm not sure which CMYK settings I should choose, there are so many 😭😭 which one would you recommend?
Really a great tutorial my man, kudos to you! I'm struggling to make the upper of the first image blue (5:31) like you did, would be a real help if you could tell me how to do that. really appreciate the good stuff, keep doing what you do best!
im copying this tuto so i can learn how to make these kind of posters i just want to say ur explnation is soo good but u didnt show us how did u remove the background and alot of stuff i hope u read my comment
Loved the tutorial and the way you explain everything, it sounds easy. I was trying to download your presets but for some reason purchase is not completed on the very last step. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP!!!!
when I add the noise after adding the threshold layer it doesn't add detail, looks very much the same :( I tried it on the Threshold layer itself as well as the original image layer
yoooo I'm wondering how you cropped the photo from the layer below inside of the rectangle that you had made. I tried a layer mask and I may have been doing something wrong but it didnt cut out any of the image. Thats the only thing thats been giving me trouble in this but this is absolutely fire and super helpful

You're going too fast and not explaining the shortcuts being used. It's not truly a tutorial, more of you doing something while we watch

Amazing video! Thing is I'm following every single step but can't get the same result with the same image and noise + Threshold effect, something is missing.
Have you tried turning into a smart object after you add the threshold? And are you adding the noise before the threshold effect?

hey man i love your content and i have a question. why do you use ppi at 72 isnt is the lowest optıon for ppi
Thank you man! 🙏 So if I'm making something that I know will never be printed I go for 72, for printing 300 dpi is much better
yo great video! btw what ur photoshop versimn ur using?
2024! And thank you so much 🙏🙏
Loved the tutorial and the way you explain everything, it sounds easy. I was trying to download your presets but for some reason purchase is not completed on the very last step. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP!!!!
awesome. does it need high-resolution photo?
we want more
More coming soon ;)
Thanks for your content, it's very useful! The poster is awesome) I want to ask what kind of font do you use for the word “wolf”?
Please I need the Displacement tutorial video 😢
For some reason, when I convert to Smart Object, the Threshold effect goes off
when I add the noise after adding the threshold layer it doesn't add detail, looks very much the same :( I tried it on the Threshold layer itself as well as the original image layer
SAME PROBLEM
guys how i do so when i make the rectangle is the only thing thats kept from the original photo
thank you
yoooo I'm wondering how you cropped the photo from the layer below inside of the rectangle that you had made. I tried a layer mask and I may have been doing something wrong but it didnt cut out any of the image. Thats the only thing thats been giving me trouble in this but this is absolutely fire and super helpful
th-cam.com/video/pTGXr-yE6TU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xUsdH7MDFaOhtZbp thank me later 😇
Heyy i was wondering what shortcut did you use to instantly add the white border around the image plus the wireframe?
Im having trouble to do it
I used a rectangular with a white stroke, then clip the images (wire frame as well) onto the rectangle
I think if you used bees instead of butterflies it would have added more cohesion as tylers flower boy album cover has bees on it
Hey short question, how did you add the wireframe to the backround. I didnt quite get it cause the step was fast
I removed the background of the Tyler image and just moved the layer behind him ☺
i like the poster with some butterfly. please make the typography effect on the next video.. thank you
Thank you! 🙏🙏 I'll definitely make that video soon!
HOW DO YOU PUT THE PART OF THE HEAD ABOVE EVERYTHING
yo brother i would like to buy your course but something went wrong :(
Please how did u make d Tyler photo pop out from the rectangle???
Used the pen tool to select the parts I wanted to come out of the rectangle, then make those parts of the layer mask white so they are visible :)
how to crop in intro with shape outline to image
we are still waiting for the video about displacement maps
Hi, one short question...What you made after you added recangle on first pic??...How did u crop that?
Thank you i made a skibidi toilet poster thanks to this
