Thanks for the vid. I have an 04' Ram that finally needs the exhaust replaced. Yes, it really lasted 15 years! It sounded good with a few rust holes, but now it's obnoxiously loud. So, this weekend's project is to replace it from the cat back and change the OEM single to duals. I think I'll go with Flowmaster. Yours sounds BADASS! Kudos to Little Debbie -she rocks. Is it easy remove clamps on old muffler . I bought used Kit didnt have 2.5 clamps . Hoping to put Stock clamps on then FM american thunder??

Congrats on the new Ram. It’s a fun truck to mod. There’s a intake for our trucks called vararam air grabber that has that old school look but packed a punch. Great video man 👍🏼
I saw a video for this intake and the owner checked around 2 weeks after installed and found a lot of dust inside the filter, maybe already get into the engine.
JZ CH Yeah I saw that same video too, with these filters there’s two things that can cause that... #1 if it’s not properly seated in the grove all the way around and #2 you have to clean and oil them every 5,000 miles or so cause it is a ram air intake which gets dirt build up quicker. I’ve never had any issues by doing this, it’s little more maintenance but worth it if your looking for good power. 👍🏼

I’d say plenty loud for my 50 yr old ears to enjoy lol. Hard to say as I haven’t compared. When you slow down sounds like I have Jake Breaks ... love it .

Does Flow Master have a direct fit system for a single outlet exhaust. I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn with a standard cab and with the single exhaust and I would like to put an exhaust on it that makes a bit of a rumble and opens the breathing up a bit for better performance. I don't see much available for that.
I ya e a ram rebel 2019 and I want tondo this .. but I don’t want anything to noisy ... also u don’t want Tom much drone inside the cabin ... what is the best option for me?? Again a want to get a better exhaust sound but not to much noose

Debbie and a Hemi! Good for you man.
Those factory slip fittings have a tack weld on them. So they aren’t going to just slip off if you’re trying to take those off , and trying to get them loose, it won’t work. You have to pry those brackets apart after taking off the nut, and then wiggle them back and forth to break the tack weld. Its not too hard, but ya need to know it if you’re trying to slide them. I see in your vid you just slipped out the tail pipes from the muffler and front pipe. I sprayed th bolts and the fitting joints with liquid wrench several times in the week before. I have a 2015 I just did it on. But good video, thanks

Which Flowmaster muffler did you install
Love dodge trucks. I own an 05 ram sport hemi. A 2015 ram sport hemi. And a 2015 ram bighorn hemi. All with dual exhaust. My 05 ram hemi has long tube headers with true duals and an H pipe, it has lots of bark... and lots of bite to back up that bark... hell yeah it's gotta Hemi!!!

I love it, just loud enough to get the point across. Drove a 2000 mile trip and don't have any complaints. Sound amazing when you punch it.
I am ready to order my exhaust, I like your set up but I am most worried about the annoying drone sound in the cab. Is there any of the drone noticable?
The drone sound is notices while in Eco mode. I just turn that off.
On Amazon it only shows 2010 for year do I just get that one or is there something I need to do to get the right one for 2017?
You need to change the amazon search from dodge to ram.

How would you remove the original muffler if it's a '13 and a little rusty? I don't think WD40 is enough... Torch maybe or better to take it to a local muffler shop?
WD40 should work, just spray it over a few days. If you break the bolts...no big deal. The Flowmaster include new bolts and brackets. I'm not a "cutter". Good Luck!
LifeBuzzN I just sprayed like an hour before and I could remove it pretty easy. I stripped 1 bolt only but the worst part was that mine (Super 44) came short and w/o any hardware. I had to go to my local AutoZone to buy a 3" straight pipe to extend the muffler and some clamps. Thanks for the advice and the great video! P.s. I didn't have any helper either!

Could not for the life of me get stock muffler off. Took to muffler shop and they ended up cutting old muffler out. Still totally worth it. 2017 with 24k miles.
Matt see my comment I added above. Those factory “slip” collars are tack welded on. They won’t slip off when you take out the bolt. They have to be pried apart and then wiggled to break the weld

Sounds great ! How is the cabin drone ? And how does the exhaust sound when the truck is in eco ?
I put the same American Thunder cat back on mine and in eco the usual drone isnt that bad. If you downshift once it cancels the eco mode until you shift it out of drive so thats the way I drive most days. In town I use 6th or 7th gear and 8th on the freeway. The Hemi runs better at 2000 or more RPMs.

If you take it out of Evo.....no drone at all. It's sound great even in eco, but does have that wallup noise when in low gears. I kick it off of eco.

Longshot, but I'm really interested in this exhaust but my job means I go to work at 4am and i dont want to be that neighbor waking everyone up in the morning. Is this exhaust so loud that will make my neighbors hate me? I want a louder exhaust but not that loud haha
No, it's not that loud. I*t has a night rumble, but not rambunctious at all.

According to Flowmaster, no, it does not. Also, I've had warranty work done on my truck since this install and the dealer did not have any issues with it.
