Well done, STRAITS TIMES, for interviewing a 'friend' who posted the interview on his FB to promote his Fengshui business. Not unlike insurance agents who uses other people's tragedies and deaths to sell insurance on social media.

The question that needs to be asked is, why do we allow fast cars in Singapore? Where are they rushing to? Traffic lights everywhere. Those cars never get to flex their muscles here. Every 3rd gear, traffic lights.
Who's allowing these cars to be modified further even? Aren't the motorshops monitored? Or are these allowed cos the authorities like bringing billionaires here who want their 'toys' here too. Imagine telling locals you can't have these toys but those who like using Singapore as a playground can.

When it comes to an accident, some people immediately say that the accident was caused by drunken driving, like a detective. I have experienced losing control of the car sometimes. During the day my car crashed like this. But i have not met the accident on my own initiative. What was wrong with the New Year celebration? They are no harm to anyone. It was an accident. Don't talk about the accident caused by drunken driving. Accident caused by loss of control. Poor. Say comfort to those parents who have lost their children. Pray for peace of the souls of their lord. Share your concern to the family of those souls who are already unable to bear the loss. Please do not criticize them wrongly. It was a great sin. May the soul of the five rest in peace at the feet of the Lord.

Respect is earn, not given. Especially in this kind of tragedy where action determine the outcome ........ all you could ask from public is mercy and compassion. He made a mistake, he paid a heavy price for it, the people understand that. For the price that he pay you seek public's end to his condemnation. Thus you hope public would treat the incident with compassion and be merciful to the deceased. Asking for respect is poor choice of words. As if he is demanding the public to shut up about this incident which I am pretty sure will fume more people to be even more toxic in their comment towards the dead.
