- Today I can show to YOU the BRUTAL pure V8 sounds of the facelifted 2020 / 2021 Jaguar F-Type R P575 AWD powered by the well-known 5.0 Kompressor engine. 575 hp & 700 Nm now is the power output and it feels super strong already from low rpms. It also still sounds marvelous probably making this the best-sounding OPF-car out there! But please watch yourself and tell me your thoughts? Maybe a manual gearbox would be missing, but hey, the ZF8HP is such a good gearbox you wouldn't really want anything else.

I have 1 I traded in my 2009 DB9 for it, zero regrets great car, zero hassles, a pleasure to drive, with my DB9 was always waiting for the next breakdown. For those that complain about exhaust sound, I just leave dynamic off in town it’s quiet then.

The original car is incredible, but this updated car most definitely makes the original car look dated for sure. One would be lucky to have either though.
I disagree somewhat. Both look amazing, but the front of the gen 1 F Type is a lot more elegant.
As I guy with a C63s I think this has to be One of the best sounding v8s, Maserati sounds pretty good too.

still sounds absolutely amazing in my opinion. especially in a time when every other sportscar and GTs sound like vacuum cleaners (beside the 200k+ cars ofc). the only stupid thing is the goddamn softlimiter while it stands. overall still a gorgeaus car

That v6 did have an amazing sound. Could be argued it sounds better than the v8. Jag hit it out of the park sound wise with these cars across the board as far as I’m concerned.

The best sounding car with an OPF. But nothing like the pre OPF one
Congrets you are one of very few persons who sees the potential of an Jaguar F Type. I drove the older models aswell and this new one. Yeah the Ftype is not as load as previous pre-opf models but still loud and in comparison to AUDi, BMW or Mercedes VERY VERY LOUD. There is no AUDi Bbmw & Co which is even cloas as loud as the F Type! I will buy also one in the near future before Jaguar goes full electric (i Still hope it was still a troll because it can be the End of the Brand)

Just need to pull the exhaust valve fuse as the new regulations keep them permanently closed below 4k rpm or so. Low rpm grumble is what makes this engine so fun in traffic at lower speeds and that’s gone now. Hopefully that trick works like it did on the previous ones!

The p450 is actually the perfectly balanced choice, as it is practically an R just detuned from factory with the same supercharged V8, which u can retune to your power needs....plus it's cheaper 😄
