Never underestimate the bravery of a cat. If they consider their family a part of their pride ( to use the term for a group of lions ) and their pride is threatened, they will defend. They may be small, but they have really sharp claws. One swipe to the nose, and even the largest of predators will back down.
It's usually moma cats that protect. I've had several cats over the years. And the Moma cat was the most worrying over me. If I sang or whistled she'd try to consol me as if I was in pain. If I acted out of the ordinary in any way, she'd be up in my face. If a stranger entered the house she'd attack them. If she saw a dog, she'd attack it.

I’ve heard of cats doing other things, like alerting parents that a baby was in trouble (health) in a crib. The cat put up a fuss until they followed it into the baby’s room. Then the cat sat under the crib. The baby needed medical attention.
That first dog looks almost identical to my neighbor's dog when I was a child, except he was blind in one eye from a shotgun. He saved me in exactly the same fashion as the dog in the video. That was about 60 years ago and I still think of him with gratitude.

I saw that clip elsewhere but it stopped with him chasing after the woman! That is a creep who deserves to be in prison. Instead of just running back out, he chose to chase after her! A cat going after a bear is quite ballsy and impressive but that dog pulling a child away from danger and then afterwards scooping up the kid's toy is just mind blowing. This by no means makes an animal a babysitter though!
That first dogs level of restraint/awareness is nothing short of out-fucking-STANDING. Got the girl out of harms way, chased off the other dog, does an instant 180 to check on the kid, *while* keeping an eye on the other dog. Never once lost sight of it's main goal, to protect the kid, while even practicing restraint to avoid causing serious harm to the other dog.
That dog pulling the boy away from the water and then using the net to retrieve the toy and then taking the toy to the boy is something I cant even fathom. I am not sure I will EVER look dogs and cats the same after this video. This is some of the most remarkable things that I have ever seen from dogs and cats!
Actually you can tell from the black dogs posture and etc that it wasn't going in for attack. Tail position, hair isn't stood up, no teeth barred, and etc. There is a strong chance this dog only wanted to play and you can also tell it was a neighbor dog so there is also a chance the dog is familiar with the kid. However, the other dog moving to protect the kid is commendable in either case, but I don't believe the child was actually in danger on this one.
@@jimmylolo8108 We know from pitbull attacks that some dogs' version of "play" is actually treating vulnerable people as meat-filled toys. You can see videos of pitbulls mauling elderly people and they look very playful and friendly from their posture. This is especially true with dogs that are left mostly unsupervised in groups of 2 or more. It is most definitely not safe for the kid.

Animals are angels sent to watch over people. I've had dogs more than half my life. They have been unconditionally loving, loyal, and protective. Today is my older dog's 14th birthday. My heart will break when she leaves. My favorite kind of people are the ones who are good to animals❤

Interesting people are saying they didn't expect to see it from a cat. Cats are just as loyal. The thing is you have to treat cats and dogs differently. And some people really don't understand that. And people think cats just think of themselves because they're not interactive with them... The interaction between dogs and cats is different but if you do it right with cats you will get the same effect. Playing with cats until they get bored. Talking to them regular. Letting them rub their head on you, and that's very important. Respecting them, like when he doesn't want patted or cuddled anymore, it's not an insult, it means the cat is either tired, need some alone time, or needs to go to the toilet. Never really understood why people get offended by that lol? The interaction between dogs and cats is different and you have to play out it differently.

@@sweeper1977, I've had some incredible experiences with amazing animals throughout my life. I've seen evidence that animals can learn to tell time. I've heard cats say 'No!' and mean it. I've learned that if I treat an animal as if it's an intelligent creature, it will act like an intelligent creature. Never underestimate the intelligence of animals.
Too much, too little, it's always not good enough in the eyes of strangers. Simple fact is that YOU are not the parent of said child and every situation is different. My six year old can make the trip from his daycare to our house alone and he sometimes plays for 2 hours straight outside alone with his peers at the communal playhouse kicking balls or playing hide and seek. Sure it was scary the first 10 times, trying to stay hidden just far enough to make him believe he was alone. But I had to trust that I taught him well and put my faith in him, not only did he do what he was supposed to do, he did it 2 times better when I was not watching. The amount of pride he has that he can be a big boy is priceless. Recently we let him in charge of his 4 year old brother when playing outside, responsibility taught at a young age. Now would I do this in the USA with all those irresponsible fools unable to keep their dogs at bay or every other idiot driving in a truck they can't afford? Hell nah, but that's not where I happen to live.

1st time dog owner here and my pitbull is so majestic. Its amazing how loyal and intelligent they are. Truly mans best friend. I feel like domesticated animals are a gift from god.
The cats amaze me. I lost my Noche and I never knew a cat could be so close of a companion as she was to me. She passed recently and it still hurts. I should of taken better care of her.

What pisses me off is all these children were left unattended to in the 1st place. The last person let the child walk towards the bulls instead of picking the child up when he saw them. Thank God for these guardian angel pets saving these children.
Love that the first dog just wanted to protect the child. Once the threat was gone, the dog didn't go after the other dog, it dropped its aggression instantly when he saw the child was safe.

Never underestimate the bravery of a cat. If they consider their family a part of their pride ( to use the term for a group of lions ) and their pride is threatened, they will defend. They may be small, but they have really sharp claws. One swipe to the nose, and even the largest of predators will back down.

It's usually moma cats that protect. I've had several cats over the years. And the Moma cat was the most worrying over me. If I sang or whistled she'd try to consol me as if I was in pain. If I acted out of the ordinary in any way, she'd be up in my face. If a stranger entered the house she'd attack them. If she saw a dog, she'd attack it.

I’ve heard of cats doing other things, like alerting parents that a baby was in trouble (health) in a crib. The cat put up a fuss until they followed it into the baby’s room. Then the cat sat under the crib. The baby needed medical attention.
That first dog looks almost identical to my neighbor's dog when I was a child, except he was blind in one eye from a shotgun. He saved me in exactly the same fashion as the dog in the video. That was about 60 years ago and I still think of him with gratitude.

That first dogs level of restraint/awareness is nothing short of out-fucking-STANDING. Got the girl out of harms way, chased off the other dog, does an instant 180 to check on the kid, *while* keeping an eye on the other dog. Never once lost sight of it's main goal, to protect the kid, while even practicing restraint to avoid causing serious harm to the other dog.
Wasn’t a girl. The dog was protecting a boy.
That dog pulling the boy away from the water and then using the net to retrieve the toy and then taking the toy to the boy is something I cant even fathom. I am not sure I will EVER look dogs and cats the same after this video. This is some of the most remarkable things that I have ever seen from dogs and cats!

That first video. Dog pushed the lil girl down to get her outnof harms way and proceeded to attack/defend. Thats awesome. Great dog.
Actually you can tell from the black dogs posture and etc that it wasn't going in for attack. Tail position, hair isn't stood up, no teeth barred, and etc. There is a strong chance this dog only wanted to play and you can also tell it was a neighbor dog so there is also a chance the dog is familiar with the kid. However, the other dog moving to protect the kid is commendable in either case, but I don't believe the child was actually in danger on this one.
@@jimmylolo8108 We know from pitbull attacks that some dogs' version of "play" is actually treating vulnerable people as meat-filled toys. You can see videos of pitbulls mauling elderly people and they look very playful and friendly from their posture. This is especially true with dogs that are left mostly unsupervised in groups of 2 or more. It is most definitely not safe for the kid.

Well, cats do look after themselves but it's not bc of selfishness, it's bc they also expect you to look after yourself, that's just how it is, between cats! :) Cats don't live in a society and their default understanding is that everyone takes care of themselves. However, they do have exclusive bonds, usually it's a pair: e.g. 2 cat brothers hunting/living together, and if a female cat understands that a human baby is a baby she would protect him, if they're bonded.

Too much, too little, it's always not good enough in the eyes of strangers. Simple fact is that YOU are not the parent of said child and every situation is different.
My six year old can make the trip from his daycare to our house alone and he sometimes plays for 2 hours straight outside alone with his peers at the communal playhouse kicking balls or playing hide and seek. Sure it was scary the first 10 times, trying to stay hidden just far enough to make him believe he was alone. But I had to trust that I taught him well and put my faith in him, not only did he do what he was supposed to do, he did it 2 times better when I was not watching.
The amount of pride he has that he can be a big boy is priceless. Recently we let him in charge of his 4 year old brother when playing outside, responsibility taught at a young age. Now would I do this in the USA with all those irresponsible fools unable to keep their dogs at bay or every other idiot driving in a truck they can't afford? Hell nah, but that's not where I happen to live.
