Thank you very much, I also fell flat on my nose when I was doing a shirt for my 6 year old niece! So this is a much better technique. I’ll definitely give it a try. As always your tutorial videos are extremely helpful. Thank you once again.
Thank you so much for this video, so many of us benefit from your expertise and experience. You are a great instructor so clear and concise. I now feel like I can attempt the ripple stitch - never knew how to do this before.
I had to digitize a CD for a DJ once myself. A real brain drain. Your technique looks great. Today I would do it with a low density fill, Mylar topping with a low density spiral on top of the Mylar. I love the Mylar technique. I went back an re digitized some of my old favorites to show case it.
Hi John I am ashamed to say that I have tried to master this design in Hatch2 28 times and counting! I have almost written your words down verbatim but still I get stuck at the same point each time, the addition of colours on circle number 2 when adding the orange and then the red. My circle turns black! I am going to have three more goes tonight and then attack it again tomorrow - I will not give up. Sigh.... If I should succeed you will hear me shout for joy from the U.K! ......Coming back after a couple of hours of practice, I can proudly say 'I have done it!'
Carina Bam software layout isn’t quite the same and would require more steps and to be honest an entirely new video. Bernina has, ripple, stitch edit and you can change object from outlines to fills. Essentially most of the same tools are present.
Thanks for all this videos well done you are the best

Great video. Thanks for sharing. What kind of paint do you use? How long must it dry before you stitch on it?
Just having the time now to get into this Hatch software. Loved this video. Great presentation and great information.
